Eligible Spending definition

Eligible Spending means one or more successful Octopus Mastercard Transactions made with an Eligible Participant’s Octopus Mastercard registered pursuant to Clause 8.1 above within the Promotion Period.
Eligible Spending means the money spent by the Member for Eligible Tariffs, food, drink, wellness, health and golf services and for entrance fees to the water parks and sauna centres in the Participating Facilities. Eligible Spending does not include:
Eligible Spending means the total spending made with your Octopus Mastercard in a particular Spending Month, comprising one or more successful Octopus Mastercard Transactions with a cumulated value in the amount of HK$300 or above.

Examples of Eligible Spending in a sentence

  • Any decimal place for Eligible Spending amount will be rounded down to the nearest integer.

  • Eligible Spending of supplementary Eligible Card(s) will be combined with the Eligible Spending of the principal Eligible Card for the purpose of this Promotion.

  • The Bank reserves the final decision on whether a transaction is eligible to be an Eligible Spending.

  • Eligible Spending is calculated based on the relevant transaction dates(s) and subject to the record of the Bank.

  • The Bank reserves the final decision on whether a transaction is eligible to be Eligible Spending.

  • The Bank reserves the right of final decision for determining if the transaction fulfills the definition of "Eligible Spending".

  • Welcome Offer Eligible Spending of Supplementary Eligible Card will be combined to the Principal Eligible Card account.


More Definitions of Eligible Spending

Eligible Spending means all posted transactions and monthly installments of billed interest free installment plans conducted by principal and supplementary card(s), if applicable. Ineligible transactions include but are not limited to transactions through Faster Payment System (FPS) services, traveler's checks, cash advances, withdrawal amount/loan amount under the Balance Transfer Program, Cash Conversion Program, “FlexiBill” Installment Program and “PayLite” Installment Program and Quick Cash Installment Program, payment to the Inland Revenue Department, online bill payment or utilities bill / insurance transactions made with Eligible Card via internet banking or online payment system, all payments made using “Citi PayAll Service”, mutual funds payment, fees & charges, casino transactions, unposted/cancelled/refunded transactions, or other unauthorized transactions and fraud and abuse transactions.
Eligible Spending means a consumer transaction paid by a Member at a participating merchant of the Participating Partner / the Participating Partner. For details of an “Eligible Spending” of each Participating Partner, please refer to the terms and conditions of the earning proposition listed on each applicable Partner Page of KDP at https://hk.krewards.com/partner/, and all relevant terms and conditions related to this Activity.
Eligible Spending means a consumer transaction paid by a Member at a Participating Merchant(s). For details of an “Eligible Spending” of Participating Partner, please refer to the terms and conditions of the earning proposition listed on Partner Page of KDP at https://hk.krewards.com/partners/rosewood-hong-kong/ , and all relevant terms and conditions related to this Activity.
Eligible Spending means the total spending made with your Octopus UnionPay Card during a particular Spending Period, comprising one or more successful Octopus UnionPay Card Transactions with a cumulated value in the amount of HK$200 or above.

Related to Eligible Spending

  • Medical flexible spending arrangement or "medical FSA" means a benefit plan whereby eligible state employees may reduce their salary before taxes to pay for medical expenses not reimbursed by insurance as provided in the salary reduction plan established under chapter

  • Eligible student means a student who is eighteen years or older.

  • Hospitalization means admission in a Hospital for a minimum period of 24 consecutive ‘In- patient Care’ hours except for specified procedures/ treatments, where such admission could be for a period of less than 24 consecutive hours.

  • Qualifying Educational Program means a program at a post-secondary school level of not less than three consecutive weeks duration that requires each student taking the program to spend not less than 10 hours per week on courses or work in that program.

  • Qualifying Examination means examinations on the basis of which a candidate becomes eligible for admission or its equivalent examination;

  • Eligibility means the decision as to whether an individual qualifies, under financial and nonfinancial requirements, to receive program benefits.

  • Medicare benefit means the Medicare benefit payable within the meaning of Part II of the Health Insurance Act 1973 with respect to a professional service.

  • Eligible Services means only those services detailed in the sub-section titled Eligible Services.

  • Dependent care assistance program or "DCAP" means a benefit plan whereby school employees may pay for certain employment related dependent care with pretax dollars as provided in the salary reduction plan under chapter 41.05 RCW pursuant to 26 U.S.C. Sec. 129 or other sections of the Internal Revenue Code.

  • Eligible school means an independent school including those religious in nature, other than a public school, at which the compulsory attendance requirements of Section 59-65-10 may be met, that:

  • Eligible Dependent means a child of an Eligible Retiree who satisfies the requirements for eligibility described in the Eligibility section of this document.

  • Dental means of or relating to the teeth and the work of a dentist.

  • Family child care home means a private home in which 1 but fewer than 7 minor children are received for care and supervision for compensation for periods of less than 24 hours a day, unattended by a parent or legal guardian, except children related to an adult member of the household by blood, marriage, or adoption. Family child care home includes a home in which care is given to an unrelated minor child for more than 4 weeks during a calendar year. A family child care home does not include an individual providing babysitting services for another individual. As used in this subparagraph, "providing babysitting services" means caring for a child on behalf of the child's parent or guardian if the annual compensation for providing those services does not equal or exceed $600.00 or an amount that would according to the internal revenue code of 1986 obligate the child's parent or guardian to provide a form 1099-MISC to the individual for compensation paid during the calendar year for those services.

  • Eligible means that the individual obtained the checks and clearances described in sections 5n and 5q and is considered appropriate to obtain a license, to be a member of the household of a group child care home or family child care home, or to be a child care staff member.

  • Health care coverage means any plan providing hospital, medical or surgical care coverage for

  • Dental therapist means an individual licensed to practice as a dental therapist under this chapter.

  • Eligible Spouse means a spouse of an Eligible Retiree who satisfies the requirements for eligibility described in the Eligibility section of this document, or an ex-spouse who is an Eligible Spouse with rights to coverage as an Eligible Spouse pursuant to a court order recognized by SHARP. A Spouse must be married to retiree at least one year prior to the effective date of retirement. A Spouse married after the retiree’s effective retirement date is considered a non-eligible spouse for purposes of the Plan. [See “Spouse”]

  • Cooperative education program means a written voluntary agreement between and among districts to provide certain educational programs for pupils in certain groups of districts. The written agreement shall be approved by all affected districts at least annually and shall specify the educational programs to be provided and the estimated number of pupils from each district who will participate in the educational programs.

  • Dental hygienist means an individual who has fulfilled the educational requirements and is a graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program and who has passed an examination and has been issued a license by the Board and who is authorized to practice dental hygiene as hereinafter defined;

  • dependants for the purpose of definition, dependants are spouse, dependent children and anyone for whom the employee claims exemption on federal income tax returns;

  • EAP means the Employee Assistance Program offered through the City and County of San Francisco.

  • Eligible Survivor means the Insured Employee's:

  • Health means physical or mental health; and

  • Plans means all maps, drawings, sketches and layout as incorporated in the Contract in order to define broadly the scope and specifications of the work & works and all reproductions thereof.

  • Long-term care insurance means group insurance that is authorized by the retirement system for retirants, retirement allowance beneficiaries, and health insurance dependents, as that term is defined in section 91, to cover the costs of services provided to retirants, retirement allowance beneficiaries, and health insurance dependents, from nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home health care providers, adult day care providers, and other similar service providers.

  • Indigent means a person who is not financially able to employ counsel.
