Employment Harassment definition

Employment Harassment means any actual or alleged harassment, other than employment sexual harassment, which creates a work environment that interferes with job performance, or creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive work environment.
Employment Harassment means actual or alleged unwelcome sexual or non-sexual advances, requests for sexual or non-sexual favors or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual or non-sexual nature that: 1) explicitly or implicitly are made a condition of employment, 2) are used as basis for employment decisions, or 3) create a hostile, intimidating or offensive work environment or that interferes with performance.

  • Harassment means engaging in a course of vexatious comment or conduct that is known or ought reasonably to be known to be unwelcome". ref: Ontario Human Rights Code, Sec. 10 (1)

  • Sexual harassment means conduct on the basis of sex that satisfies one or more of the following:

  • Retaliation means any form of intimidation, reprisal or harassment directed against a student who reports bullying, provides information during an investigation, or witnesses or has reliable information about bullying.

  • Sexual abuse means actual or threatened physical intrusion of a sexual nature, whether by force or under unequal or coercive conditions.

  • Employment agency means a person regularly undertaking with or without compensation to procure employees for an employer or to procure for employees opportunities to work for an employer and includes an agent of such a person.

  • Covered employment means employment in a covered position.

  • Employment Termination means the effective date of: (i) Executive’s voluntary termination of employment with the Company with Good Reason, or (ii) the termination of Executive’s employment by the Company without Good Cause.
