Employment or Service definition

Employment or Service means any continuous period during which an Employee is actively engaged in performing services for the Employer plus the term of any leave of absence approved by the Employer.
Employment or Service means any continuous period during which an Employee is actively engaged in performing services for the Company and its Subsidiaries plus the term of any leave of absence approved by the PAC.

  • You will not use any such information in your Employment or Service, you will not disclose any such information to us or any of our directors, officers, agents or other employees, or induce any of them to use any such information, and you will not bring onto the premises of the Company any such information in any form, unless such person or entity has granted you written authorization to do so.

  • This Agreement does not bind the Company or you to any specific period of employment or service, and shall not be construed in any manner as an employment or consulting agreement or to make your Employment or Service other than terminable at will at any time by us in our sole discretion.

  • In the event your Employment or Service is terminated, you will do all the things described in this paragraph without charge to us other than a reasonable payment for your time involved.

  • This Agreement is binding during your Employment or Service and shall survive any termination of your Employment or Service.

  • You understand that "prospective customer" means any prospective customer of the Company with whom you had contact at any time during the six (6) months preceding the termination of your Employment or Service.

  • The Committee may, by the terms of the Option Agreement, provide for a longer or shorter period during which the Option may be exercised following Termination of Employment or Service.

  • This Agreement does not apply to any Inventions made by you prior to your Employment or Service that are identified in Attachment A hereto.

  • Except as provided herein, upon an Optionee’s Termination of Employment or Service his Option privileges shall be limited to the shares which were immediately purchasable by him at the date of such termination, and such Option privileges shall be exercisable by such Optionee for three months after the date of such termination, but not any later than the expiration date of the Option, at which time such Option shall expire.

  • The Participant acknowledges that the Participant has read and specifically and expressly approves the following sections of the Agreement: Section 2 - Terms and Conditions; Section 3 - Termination of Employment or Service with the Company; Section 6(c) - Tax Withholding; Section 6(d) - Nature of Grant; Section 6(p) - Governing Law; JURY TRIAL WAIVER; and Section 6(u) - Language.

  • D.1 Condition of Employment or Service All Supervised Persons shall conduct themselves at all times in the best interests of the Clients.

  • employment zone means an area within Great Britain designated for the purposes of section 60 of the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999 and an “employment zone programme” means a programme established for such an area or areas designed to assist claimants for a jobseeker’s allowance to obtain sustainable employment;

  • Termination of Employment means that the Executive ceases to be employed by the Company for any reason, voluntary or involuntary, other than by reason of a leave of absence approved by the Company.

  • Employment Services means services designed to assist Consumers with obtaining Employment. Services may include, but are not limited to, application completion, resume development, interview training, and providing access to job listings.

  • CMU Service means the Central Moneymarkets Unit Service, operated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority;

  • Employment means any occupation, vocation or employment, or any form of vocational or educational training. Provided, however, that "employment" shall not, for the purposes of this article, include membership in any law enforcement agency.

  • Involuntary Termination of Employment means the Termination of Service by the Company or Subsidiary other than a termination for Cause, or termination of employment by a Participant Employee for Good Reason.

  • Supported employment services means provision of job training and supervision available to assist an individual who needs intensive ongoing support to choose, get, and keep a job in a community business setting. Supported employment is a service planned in partnership with public vocational assistance agencies and school districts and through Social Security Work Incentives when available.

  • Continuous Status as an Employee, Director or Consultant means the employment or relationship as a Director or Consultant is not interrupted or terminated. The Board, in its sole discretion, may determine whether Continuous Status as an Employee, Director or Consultant shall be considered interrupted in the case of: (i) any leave of absence approved by the Board, including sick leave, military leave, or any other personal leave; or (ii) transfers between locations of the Company or between the Company, Affiliates or their successors.

  • Continuous Status as an Employee or Consultant means the absence of any interruption or termination of service as an Employee or Consultant. Continuous Status as an Employee or Consultant shall not be considered interrupted in the case of sick leave, military leave, or any other leave of absence approved by the Board; provided that such leave is for a period of not more than 90 days or reemployment upon the expiration of such leave is guaranteed by contract or statute.

  • Gainful employment means paid employment for not less than 30 hours in each week for a period of not less than 12 months;

  • Termination of Services means Participant’s Termination of Consultancy, Termination of Directorship or Termination of Employment, as applicable.

  • Suitable employment or "suitable job" means employment or a job:

  • Service or services means the performance of work, or the furnishing of labor, time, or effort, or any combination thereof, not involving or connected to the delivery or ownership of a specified end product or goods or a manufacturing process. Service or services may also include an arrangement in which a vendor compensates the Board for the vendor's right to operate a concession.

  • Active Employment means you must be actively at work for the Sponsor:

  • Pregnancy disability means a pregnancy-related medical condition or miscarriage.

  • Covered employment means employment in a covered position.

  • Supported employment means the ongoing supports to participants who, because of their disabilities, need intensive ongoing support to obtain and maintain an individual job in competitive or customized employment, or self-employment, in an integrated work setting in the general workforce at or above the state’s minimum wage or at or above the customary wage and level of benefits paid by the employer for the same or similar work performed by individuals without disabilities. The outcome of this service is sustained paid employment at or above the minimum wage in an integrated setting in the general workforce in a job that meets personal and career goals. Supported employment services can be provided through many different service models.

  • Consultancy means the person, firm or corporate body Introduced to the Client by the Employment Business to carry out an Assignment (and, save where otherwise indicated, includes Consultancy Staff and any third party to whom the provision of the Consultancy Services is assigned or sub-contracted with the prior approval of the Client and any officer, employee, worker or representative of any such third party);

  • Customized employment means an approach to supported employment which individualizes the employment relationship between employees and employers in ways that meet the needs of both. Customized employment is based on an individualized determination of the strengths, needs, and interests of the person with a disability and is also designed to meet the specific needs of the employer. Customized employment may include employment developed through job carving, self-employment or entrepreneurial initiatives, or other job development or restructuring strategies that result in job responsibilities being customized and individually negotiated to fit the needs of the individual with a disability. Customized employment assumes the provision of reasonable accommodations and supports necessary for the individual to perform the functions of a job that is individually negotiated and developed.

  • Employment benefits means all benefits provided or made

  • Employment agency means a person regularly undertaking with or without compensation to procure employees for an employer or to procure for employees opportunities to work for an employer and includes an agent of such a person.

  • Continuous Employment has the same meaning as specified in the Employer’s Terms and Conditions of Employment on the date of signing of this agreement; (emploi continu)

  • Employment outcome means, with respect to an eligible individual, entering, advancing in, or retaining full-time or part-time competitive integrated employment as defined in 34 CFR §361.5(c) (9) (including customized employment, self-employment, telecommuting, or business ownership), or supported employment as defined in 34 CFR §361.5(c) (53), that is consistent with an individual's unique strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests, and informed choice. (Note: As specified in federal rule, a designated State unit may continue services to individuals with uncompensated employment goals on their approved individualized plans for employment prior to the effective date of the final federal regulations until June 30, 2017, unless a longer period of time is required based on the needs of the individual with the disability, as documented in the individual's service record.)

  • Qualifying Termination of Employment means a Participant’s Termination of Employment (i) by the Company without Cause or (ii) by the Participant with or without Good Reason or by reason of Retirement.
