Teacher Candidates who, when acting in the scope of their Clinical Field Experience, develop a reasonable belief that a minor has been or is the victim of child abuse (e.g., non- accidental injury, sexual abuse, or neglect) must immediately report or cause a report to be made to a police officer or Child Protective Services.
Prior to Term 1, I will not begin my Clinical Field Experience until: (i) I provide the MAT Program an executed copy of this Clinical Field Experience Agreement; (ii) I complete any application or information requested by the human resources department of the School District in which I will complete my Clinical Field Experience to determine my fitness to work with children; and (iii) the official start date of the MAT Program course in which clinical fieldwork shall be completed.
If a suitable replacement cannot be found, the Clinical Field Experience at that School will be terminated.

The School site in which the Teacher Candidate conducts her or his Clinical Field Experience facilitates a safe environment for students, employees, and community by requiring a drug- free and alcohol-free workplace mandated by local, state, and federal laws.
