Flow Cell definition

Flow Cell means the flow cell with pre-loaded nanopores, membranes that hold the nanopores and electrochemistry on a chip surface, designed for the applicable Device.
Flow Cell means an optical cell used for detection and measurement of biological samples. “Gene” is a portion of a DNA that serves as the basic unit of heredity.
Flow Cell means a device which (i) allows liquids to flow through it and comprises a base piece which contains a grating pursuant to the Grating SPR Technology; (ii) is coated with a conductive surface; and (iii) has an optically clear cover slip which is attached to the base piece by a means that allows for fluid flow.

  • Customer shall keep the Flow Cell in Customer’s possession at the Delivery Location until Customer returns the Flow Cell to Oxford or destroys the Flow Cell in accordance with Oxford’s instructions.

  • Oxford reserves the right to recover from Customer the then current price of an individual Flow Cell, or individual pack of Flow Cells if a single Flow Cell is not offered by Oxford, for any Flow Cell not returned (excepting any Contaminated Flow Cells for which proof of legal and appropriate destruction has been provided to Oxford).

  • In addition to Section 3.2, Customer shall, immediately prior to using any Flow Cell and in any event within the Warranty Period for the Flow Cell, run a quality control check on the Flow Cell in accordance with the Specifications.

  • Customer shall not sell, distribute, or transfer the Flow Cell to any third party.


More Definitions of Flow Cell

Flow Cell means the flow cell for use in conjunction with the MinION, GridION, PromethION, Voltrax or other device made available by Oxford Nanopore under this Contract.
Flow Cell means Illumina’s proprietary flow cells supplied for use on Illumina’s Cluster Station and Genome Analyzer. “Genome Analyzer” means Illumina’s sequencing instrument. “Hardware” means the hardware provided under this Agreement, or as upgrades or options under future agreements, as specified in the Specifications, including any Hardware that is a third- party Component. “Intellectual Property Rights” means all patent rights, copyrights, trade secrets, know-how, trademark, service xxxx and trade dress rights and other intellectual property rights, current or future, under the laws of any jurisdiction, together with all applications therefore and registrations thereto. “iScan” means Illumina’s high-resolution scanner that supports imaging of BeadArray-based genetic analysis products, including such accessories or peripherals as are described in the Specifications. “Oligo Pool” (or “OPA”) means a standard or custom collection of oligonucleotides required to practice an Assay. “Reagent Kit” means a kit containing the chemicals and enzymes supplied by Illumina to practice an Assay. “Sample Preparation Kit” means a kit supplied by Illumina containing the reagents required to prepare a nucleic acid template for amplification on an Illumina Cluster Station. “Sequencing Kit” means a kit supplied by Illumina containing the sequencing reagents for use on Illumina’s Genome Analyzer. “SNP” means single nucleotide polymorphism. “Software” means the Software provided under this Agreement, or as upgrades or options under future agreements, or as incorporated or embedded in other Components provided under this Agreement, in object code form, whether or not there is a separate charge thereof, including any Software that is provided from a third party. All references in this Agreement to the “purchase” or “sale” of Software shall mean the acquiring or granting, respectively, of a license to use such Software to exercise the rights pertaining to such Software that are
