French Participant definition

French Participant means an employee of a Group Company to whom a subsisting French Option has been granted under this French Addendum, and any reference to “Participant” in the other provisions of this Program shall be construed as if it were a reference to “French Participant”.

  • A Share Offering shall be open to Beneficiaries who exercise their activities within Participant Companies having their registered office in a country included in the Scope of the Offering, or are employed by aforementioned Participant Companies or by French Participant Companies, provided that these entities are located in a country included in the Scope of the Offering.

More Definitions of French Participant

French Participant means: (a) a Participant who is subject to French taxation (i.e. income tax and/or social security contributions) at the Grant Date; or (b) a Participant whose Award Document provides that he/she is considered as a French Participant and therefore is subject to the provisions of the Plan applicable to French Participants.
