SUB Plan i. The SUB Plan must be in accordance with subsection 37(2) of the Employment Insurance Regulations and registered with Service Canada.
ii. The SUB Plan will supplement EI benefits for periods of unemployment when participating in the training as prescribed by the terms of the Program.
iii. Verification that the employees have applied for and are in receipt of EI benefits will be made before SUB payments are paid.
iv. The SUB is payable at 95% of the employee’s normal weekly earnings while the employee is serving the EI waiting period.
v. The gross amount of EI benefits the SUB payment will equal 95% of the employee’s normal weekly earnings.
vi. Service Canada - SUB Plan will be informed in writing of any changes to the SUB Plan within 30 days of the effective date of the change.
vii. The SUB Plan is financed by the Employer’s general revenues. A separate record of all SUB payments will be kept by the Employer.
viii. Payments of guaranteed annual remuneration, deferred remuneration, or severance pay will not be reduced or increased by SUB payments.
ix. Employees do not have the right to SUB payments except during the periods of unemployment when participating in the training as prescribed by the terms of the Program.
SUB Plan. The Employer shall establish a supplemental employment benefit plan pursuant to the Employment Insurance Act of Canada under which the regular weekly earnings are continued during the two week waiting period in which no employment insurance benefits are payable, during a pregnancy leave or a parental leave.
SUB Plan. Maternity
SUB Plan. When implemented, said Plan shall be for the purpose of providing financial benefits for the employees as called for under the terms of the plan.
SUB Plan. This plan allows the Employer to make up the difference between the EI maternity leave benefits up to 95% of the Employee's regular weekly earnings. The Employee is required to apply for the EI maternity leave benefit and must be eligible for the benefit for the plan to apply. Contributions to the pension and benefit plan shall continue on the part of the Employee and the university on the basis of 100% of salary. In any week, the total amount of SUB employment insurance gross benefits and other earnings received by the Employee will not exceed 95% of the Employee's normal weekly earnings. The Employee will be asked to submit her benefit stub to verify receipt of EI benefits and other earnings. The rates of remuneration referred to in this Article are based on current EI benefit programmes. Any reductions in EI benefits during the life of this Agreement will result in the above rates of remuneration being reduced by a percentage equal to 50% of the percentage reduction in EI benefits.
SUB Plan. All references in the Award Agreement, Notice of Grant and Instructions to the “Plan” should be replaced with references to the UK specific sub-plan to The Amended and Restated 2013 Incentive Award Plan of Actavis plc (the “Plan”), as appended to the Plan (the “Sub-Plan”). Only Employees shall be entitled to receive RSUs and all references in the Award Agreement to your service shall be replaced with references to your employment.
SUB Plan. Kal Tire shall apply to enroll a registered Supplementary Unemployment Benefits (SUB) plan with the Government of Canada. The plan application will include the following terms:
i. The SUB Plan benefit would cover Team Members with more than three
SUB Plan. Pregnancy, Parental, Adoption Leave
i) All employees will be covered by this plan when they are entitled to Employment Insurance pregnancy and/or parental and/or adoption leave benefits.
ii) The purpose of this plan is to supplement the Employment Insurance benefits by receiving from the Agency, an amount equivalent to Employment Insurance benefits for the one (1) week waiting period that must be served prior to receiving Employment Insurance benefits. Payment will be fifty-five percent (55%) of regular rate of pay in effect immediately prior to the commencement of pregnancy or parental leave plus any wage increase that the employee would be entitled to if leave was not taken.
iii) In addition, this plan is to supplement the Employment Insurance benefits during the time of pregnancy and/or parental and/or adoption leave. Accordingly, the Agency will pay to the employee a top-up equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the employee’s weekly earnings prior to the commencement of pregnancy or parental or adoption leave for the period that they are in receipt of Employment Insurance benefits.
iv) Employees must prove that they have applied for and are in receipt of Employment Insurance (E.I.) benefits before SEB becomes payable except if non-receipt of E.I. is due to serving the E.I. waiting period.
