Occupation Certificate definition

Occupation Certificate means any occupation certificate as referred to in s 6.4 of the Act in respect of the Development Consent;
Occupation Certificate means an occupation certificate as defined under section 6.4 of the Act, or if the Former Building and Subdivision Provisions apply, section 109C of the Act, and includes an interim Occupation Certificate, a final Occupation Certificate or a partial Occupation Certificate as the case may be;
Occupation Certificate means the certificate issued by the Drakenstein Municipality evidencing that the Buildings can be occupied;

Examples of Occupation Certificate in a sentence

  • An Occupation Certificate must be obtained from the Principal Certifying Authority and a copy submitted to Council prior to commencement of occupation or use of the whole or any part of a new building, an altered portion of, or an extension to an existing building.

Occupation Certificate means a final certificate provided, in accordance with any applicable law, that certifies that the works for the Project have been completed and authorises a person to commence occupation or use of any new building or to commence a new use of an existing building, premises or facility listed in the certificate.
Occupation Certificate means the statutory approval by a competent local authority certifying a building's completion, compliance with applicable building codes and fitness for occupancy.
