GalNAc Technology definition

GalNAc Technology means: (a) a molecule that includes a therapeutic nucleic acid component, such as an siRNA, linked to a targeting ligand wherein the linkage can be directly to the targeting ligand or via a linking chemical moiety referred to as a linker; (b) a targeting ligand (c) a linker; and/or (d) methods of making and/or using targeting ligands (e.g., GalNAc or derivatives thereof). The targeting ligand can be any molecule that binds to a target within a living cell or organism, for example, the targeting ligand can be N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) or derivatives thereof. Genevant Canada has the meaning ascribed to such term in the Recitals. Genevant Shares has the meaning ascribed to such term in the Recitals.

GalNAc Technology means: [***]. “Good Laboratory Practices” or “GLP” means the regulations set forth in 21 C.F.R. Part 58 and the requirements expressed or implied thereunder imposed by the FDA and (as applicable) any comparable regulatory standards, practices and procedures promulgated by the EMA or other Regulatory Authority applicable to the Territory, as they may be updated from time to time, including applicable quality guidelines promulgated under the International Conference on Harmonisation.

Examples of GalNAc Technology in a sentence

  • The Company will also make reasonable efforts to provide to Arbutus in a timely fashion, any pertinent materials and/or support that is reasonably available to and within the Company’s control as required in response to Regulatory Authority requests related to the LNP Technology and/or GalNAc Technology used in an Arbutus Licensed Product.

  • Third Party Technology means all Intellectual Property and products owned by third parties and licensed pursuant to Third Party Licenses.

  • Excluded Technology means the Patent Applications and Patents within the Enabling Technology listed on Exhibit C hereto.

  • Licensed IP means the Licensed Patents and the Licensed Know-How.

  • Patent Rights means all patents and patent applications, including all divisionals, continuations, substitutions, continuations-in-part, re-examinations, reissues, additions, renewals, extensions, registrations, and supplemental protection certificates and the like of any of the foregoing.

  • Foreground IPR means any and all Intellectual Property Rights generated individually by either of the Parties or by jointly both of the Parties in the execution of the Contract.
