Gas Costs definition

Gas Costs means the total delivered cost of gas paid or to be paid to Suppliers, including, but not limited to, all commodity/gas charges, demand charges, peaking charges, surcharges, emergency gas purchases, over-run charges, capacity charges, standby charges, gas inventory charges, minimum bill charges, minimum take charges, take-or-pay charges and take-and-pay charges (except as provided below), storage charges, service fees and transportation charges and any other similar charges which are paid by the Company to its gas suppliers in connection with the purchase, storage or transportation of gas for the Company's system supply.
Gas Costs means the total delivered cost of gas paid or to be paid to Suppliers, including, but not limited to, all commodity/gas charges, all direct, transaction-related costs arising from an LDC's prudent efforts to stabilize or hedge commodity gas costs, demand charges, peaking charges, surcharges, emergency gas purchases, over-run charges, capacity charges, standby charges, reservation fees, gas inventory charges, minimum bill charges, minimum take charges, take-or-pay charges, storage charges, service fees and transportation charges, and other similar charges in connection with the purchase, storage or transportation of gas for the LDC's system supply.
Gas Costs or "cost of gas" means the cost to a gas or natural gas company of obtaining the gas which it sells to its customers. The cost of gas shall include demand, capacity reservation or use, transportation, storage, balancing, gathering, and other related costs to the company for services rendered or supplies provided by others prior to and including the physical delivery of the gas to the company. The cost of gas does not include the cost of utility storage otherwise recovered in base rates.

Examples of Gas Costs in a sentence

  • The Company shall compute the jurisdictional Gas Charge Adjustment at such time that the Company determines that there is a significant change in its Gas Costs.

  • All fixed Gas Costs that do not vary with the amount of gas purchased or transported, including but not limited to, the product resulting from the multiplication of (1) the respective Demand Billing Determinants by (2) the demand rates effective the first day of the Filing Month and (3) any fixed storage charges.

  • In the event an LDC anticipates a change in its City Gate Delivered Gas Costs, the LDC may apply and file revised tariffs in order to increase or decrease its rates to its customers as hereinafter provided.

  • The intent of these procedures is to permit an LDC to recover its actual prudently incurred Gas Costs.

  • If any other Gas Costs are incurred, they will be handled as in Section (3)(a)(i) if they are similar to Demand Charges and Storage Charges, or as in Section (3)(a)(ii) if they are similar to Commodity and Other Charges.

  • BALANCING ACCOUNT ACCRUAL Each month a calculation will be made to determine the amount to be accrued into Account No. 191.1 of the Uniform System of Accounts, Unrecovered Purchased Gas Costs (Utah).

  • All fixed Gas Costs that do not vary with the amount of gas purchased or transported, including, but not limited to, the product resulting from the multiplication of (1) the respective Demand Billing Determinants by (2) the demand rates effective the first day of the Filing Month and (3) any fixed storage charges.

  • Materials and Other Charges (Excluding Purchased Gas Costs and items shown in Schedule H–1 (1)(c)).

  • ADJUSTMENTS – The above rates shall be subject to Rider PGC - Section 1307 (f) Purchased Gas Costs, Rider STA - State Tax Adjustment Surcharge, Rider TCS - Transition Costs Surcharge, Rider USP-Universal Service Program, Rider MFC – Merchant Function Charge, Rider GPC – Gas Procurement Charge, Rider ARC – Acquisition Rate Credit and Rider DSIC – Distribution System Improvement Charge as set forth in this Tariff.

More Definitions of Gas Costs

Gas Costs means the (a) commodity cost of the natural gas, (b) transportation service to the SoCalGas Billing Meter, as determined in Section 16.08(b), including any charges assessed for surcharges, fuel retention charges, imbalances, penalties, or balancing or storage costs, and (c) fuel use taxes, if applicable.

Related to Gas Costs

  • Direct Costs means the sum of the following:

  • Costs means, with respect to the Non-Defaulting Party, brokerage fees, commissions, legal expenses and other similar third party transaction costs and expenses reasonably incurred by such Party in entering into any new arrangement which replaces this Agreement.

  • FTE Costs means the FTE Rate multiplied by the applicable number of FTEs who perform a specified activity pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Marketing Costs which means such reasonable charge for marketing of ores and concentrates sold or of concentrates tolled as is consistent with generally accepted industry marketing practices;

  • Project Costs means all allowable costs, as set forth in the applicable Federal cost principles, incurred by a recipient and the value of the contribu- tions made by third parties in accom- plishing the objectives of the award during the project period.

  • Development Expenses means, with respect to SAIL Developments as well as HOME Developments when the HOME Development is also at least partially financed with a MMRB Loan (as defined in rule Chapter 67-21, F.A.C.), usual and customary operating and financial costs, such as the compliance monitoring fee, the financial monitoring fee, replacement reserves, the servicing fee and the debt service reserves. As it relates to SAIL Developments as well as HOME Developments when the HOME Development is also at least partially financed with a MMRB Loan (as defined in rule Chapter 67-21, F.A.C.) and to the application of Development Cash Flow described in subsections 67-48.010(5) and (6), F.A.C., as it relates to SAIL Developments or in paragraph 67-48.020(3)(b), F.A.C., as it relates to HOME Developments, the term includes only those expenses disclosed in the operating pro forma on an annual basis included in the final credit underwriting report, as approved by the Board, and maximum of 20 percent Developer Fee per year.

  • Construction Costs means land costs, all costs paid to construct and complete the Improvements, as specified on Exhibit "B" attached hereto and made a part hereof.

  • Operating Costs means the reasonable incremental expenses incurred by the Recipient on account of Project implementation, including costs related to audits, office equipment and supplies, vehicle operation and maintenance, shipping costs, office rentals, communication and insurance costs, office administration costs, bank charges, utilities, transport costs, travel, per diem and supervision costs, and salaries of contracted employees, but excluding salaries of officials of the Recipient’s civil service.

  • Expenses shall include all direct and indirect costs, fees and expenses of any type or nature whatsoever, including, without limitation, all reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, retainers, court costs, transcript costs, fees of experts, witness fees, travel expenses, fees of private investigators and professional advisors, duplicating costs, printing and binding costs, telephone charges, postage, delivery service fees, fax transmission charges, secretarial services and all other disbursements, obligations or expenses in connection with prosecuting, defending, preparing to prosecute or defend, investigating, being or preparing to be a witness in, settlement or appeal of, or otherwise participating in, a Proceeding (as defined below), including reasonable compensation for time spent by Indemnitee for which he or she is not otherwise compensated by the Company or any third party. Expenses also shall include Expenses incurred in connection with any appeal resulting from any Proceeding (as defined below), including without limitation the principal, premium, security for, and other costs relating to any cost bond, supersedeas bond, or other appeal bond or its equivalent. Expenses, however, shall not include amounts paid in settlement by Indemnitee or the amount of judgments or fines against Indemnitee.
