Gas Costs definition

Gas Costs means the total delivered cost of gas paid or to be paid to Suppliers, including, but not limited to, all commodity/gas charges, demand charges, peaking charges, surcharges, emergency gas purchases, over-run charges, capacity charges, standby charges, gas inventory charges, minimum bill charges, minimum take charges, take-or-pay charges and take-and-pay charges (except as provided below), storage charges, service fees and transportation charges and any other similar charges which are paid by the Company to its gas suppliers in connection with the purchase, storage or transportation of gas for the Company's system supply.
Gas Costs means the total delivered cost of gas paid or to be paid to Suppliers, including, but not limited to, all commodity/gas charges, all direct, transaction-related costs arising from an LDC’s prudent efforts to stabilize or hedge commodity gas costs, demand charges, peaking charges, surcharges, emergency gas purchases, over-run charges, capacity charges, standby charges, reservation fees, gas inventory charges, minimum bill charges, minimum take charges, take-or-pay charges, storage charges, service fees and transportation charges, and other similar charges in connection with the purchase, storage or transportation of gas for the LDC's system supply.
Gas Costs or "cost of gas" means the cost to a gas or natural gas company of obtaining the gas which it sells to its customers. The cost of gas shall include demand, capacity reservation or use, transportation, storage, balancing, gathering, and other related costs to the company for services rendered or supplies provided by others prior to and including the physical delivery of the gas to the company. The cost of gas does not include the cost of utility storage otherwise recovered in base rates.

  • Seller shall hold Buyer harmless and indemnify Buyer against the actual costs or losses of Buyer resulting from a Non-Buyer Dispatch, including, without limitation, all CAISO Charges and all Gas Costs incurred pursuant to such start-up or operation.

  • In the event any payments are due Purchaser hereunder, including any payments of Replacement Gas Costs, payment to Purchaser shall be made, subject to the netting provisions of Section 9.5, in immediately available funds to the account specified from time to time by Purchaser in a written notice to Seller, on or before the Payment Date.

  • Seller shall indemnify, defend, and hold SCE harmless against the costs or losses of SCE resulting from a Non-SCE Dispatch, including all (i) charges, sanctions, and penalties imposed by CAISO, and (ii) Seller’s Gas Costs incurred pursuant to such start-up or operation, with Seller being responsible for Seller’s Gas Costs for each hour (with any partial hours being rounded up to the next full hour) of such Non-SCE Dispatch.

  • If SCE pays any Gas Costs which are Seller’s responsibility under this Agreement, SCE may deduct the amount of such Gas Costs from any amounts due to Seller pursuant to the terms of this Agreement.

  • In the event that any Greenhouse Gas Costs are imposed on Seller or Purchaser, this contract will be amended as necessary, as determined by the Commission in an appropriate proceeding.

  • Exhibit A -Natural Gas Costs Fertilizer Company agrees to pay Refinery Company for the actual costs per MMBtu of natural gas delivered to and accepted by the Fertilizer Plant as invoiced to the Refinery Company by Southern Star.
