Gross Parking Revenues definition

Gross Parking Revenues means the parking operations revenues received from operation of the Municipal Parking System as of the Effective Date of this Agreement, less rents or other obligations paid to public and/or private owners for use of their property as Facilities.
Gross Parking Revenues means any and all revenue generated by an Operator from Parking Customers who utilize the Airport and shall include all monies paid or payable to Operator or Operator's subcontractor or supplier of services for sales made or services performed at or from the Airport or on Operator's off-airport parking facilities, regardless of when, where, or whether the business transaction occurs on or off Airport property, including all revenues of every kind and character derived from, arising out of, or payable on account of the business conducted by Operator, subcontractor, supplier of services, or from the operations of Operator, whether payment is made by cash, credit card, pre-paid card, coupon, discount, barter of 'goods or services, or otherwise, and whether the same shall be paid or unpaid; provided, however, that any sales or use taxes, separately stated and paid by Parking Customers now or hereafter levied or imposed shall be excluded. It shall be presumed that all Parking Customers utilize the Airport unless the Operator demonstrates otherwise to the satisfaction of the Commission. In order to establish that less than all Gross Parking Revenues are derived from Parking Customers who utilize the Airport, the Operator shall, at a minimum, segregate and maintain records of all parking transactions for persons who did not use the Airport, together with a statement (which shall be included in the parking agreement or attached thereto) completed and separately signed by such customer, in the following form:
Gross Parking Revenues means all rentals, revenues and receipts of every kind received in cash or its equivalent by the Developer from users of the Parking Garage for use of the Parking Garage for the calendar year or partial calendar year in question, including, without limitation, the proceeds of any insurance to the extent the same shall represent compensation for lost income or revenues. In the event that the Developer offers valet parking or provides or causes to be provided passes or other forms of complimentary parking to users of the Gaming Facilities and parks the vehicles of such users in the Parking Garage at a time when a charge is imposed for self-parking, the Developer shall include an amount equal to the then current charge for self- parking in the Parking Garage in Gross Parking Revenues for such vehicle.

Gross Parking Revenues means, for any period, with respect to any Parking Asset, all revenues and receipts of any kind derived from operating such Asset and parts thereof (without duplication of any such revenues or receipts that are included as Gross Hotel Revenues), including, without limitation, income (from both cash and credit transactions) derived from shuttle and valet services, and proceeds, if any, from business interruption or other loss of income insurance, all as determined in accordance with GAAP; provided, however, that Gross Parking Revenues shall not include gratuities to employees of such Asset’s federal, state or municipal excise, sales, use, or similar taxes collected directly from customers; insurance proceeds (other than proceeds from business interruption or other loss of income insurance); condemnation proceeds; or any proceeds from any sale of such Asset.
Gross Parking Revenues means all revenues resulting from parking fees and charges generated within the St. Armands Paid Parking Area pursuant to the Sarasota City Code, Chapter 33, Traffic and Motor Vehicles, Article IV, Stopping, Standing or Parking, Division 6, Sections 33-178 and 33-180. Fines and forfeitures resulting from violations of the parking provisions which occur in the St. Armands Paid Parking Area are not Gross Parking Revenues.

Gross Operating Revenues shall be reduced by credits or refunds to guests at such Hotel Property.

No part of Lessee’s central office overhead or general or administrative expense (as opposed to that of the Hotel), and no operating expenses paid or payable by tenants under Space Leases, shall be deemed to be a part of Gross Operating Expenses, as herein provided. Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses of Lessee incurred for the account of or in connection with the Hotel operations, including but not limited to postage, telephone charges and reasonable travel expenses of employees, officers and other representatives and consultants of Lessee and its Affiliates, shall be deemed to be a part of Gross Operating Expenses and such Persons shall be afforded reasonable accommodations, food, beverages, laundry, valet and other such services by and at the Hotel without charge to such Persons or Lessee.
