Host Home definition

Host Home means a residential training home per ORS 443.400 that is a community-based family home setting licensed by the Department according to these rules to provide home and community-based services to children with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Host Homes are community homes featuring an in-residence caregiver serving in a parental role with the support of additional staff to deliver intensive care and support to children in a family home environment.
Host Home means a private home that houses up to three persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and whose owner or renter provides residential services, as described in section 25.5-10-206 (1)(e), C.R.S., to those persons as an independent contractor of a community-centered board or service agency.
Host Home. ((is)) means a private home that volunteers to host youth in need of temporary placement that is associated with a host home program.

Host Home means an emergency foster family home under the direction and regular supervision of a licensed child welfare agency, contracted to provide short-term crisis intervention services to youth served under the Comprehensive Community-Based Youth Services program, under the direction of the Department of Human Services. The youth shall not be under the custody or guardianship of the Department pursuant to the Juvenile Court Act of 1987.
