Information and Assistance definition

Information and Assistance means a service that provides current information on opportunities and services available within their communities; assesses the problems and capacities of the individuals; links individuals to the opportunities and services and, to the maximum extent feasible, ensures the individual receives the services needed and is aware of the opportunities available by establishing adequate follow-up procedures.
Information and Assistance means the provision of information on services, benefits, entitlements and other areas of concern to Consumers or their representatives which enables them to locate and obtain needed resources on their own.
Information and Assistance means a service that provides individuals with information on services available within the community and links individuals to the services and opportunities that are available within the community.

Information and Assistance. (“I & A”) means the AAA’s main entry point to services; assessing individual’s needs; providing linkage and referrals within the local community; and to the extent practicable, establishing adequate follow-up procedures to ensure individuals have obtained services.
Information and Assistance means a service for individuals that provides current in- formation about services available within the community.

  • Public assistance means Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF); auxiliary grants to the aged, blind and disabled; medical assistance; energy assistance; food stamps; employment services; child care; and general relief.

  • Information technology services means services designed to do any of the following:

  • Government assistance means a grant, loan, or tax increment financing that result in a financial benefit from an agency, commission, instrumentality, or other entity of the District government.

  • Confidential personal information means a party’s or a party’s child’s Social Security number; date of birth; driver license number; any other names used, now or in the past; and employer’s name, address, and telephone number.

  • Information Technology Systems means all information technology systems, Software, computers, workstations, databases, routers, hubs, switches, networks and other information technology equipment used or held for use in, or otherwise relating to, the Business.

  • Sexual Exploitation and Abuse “(SEA)” means the following:

  • Authority's Confidential Information means all Personal Data and any information, however it is conveyed, that relates to the business, affairs, developments, trade secrets, know-how, personnel, and suppliers of the Authority, including all IPRs, together with all information derived from any of the above, and any other information clearly designated as being confidential (whether or not it is marked "confidential") or which ought reasonably be considered to be confidential;

  • Confidential communication means a communication not intended to be disclosed to third persons other than those to whom disclosure is in furtherance of the rendition of professional legal services to the client or those reasonably necessary for the transmission of the communication.

  • Cash assistance means cash benefits provided under the family independence program, the refugee assistance program, or state disability assistance.

  • Special Personal Information means Personal Information as referred to in Section 26 of POPIA

  • Original Information means information that—

  • Information Technologies means all information processing and communications-related hardware, Software, supplies, and consumable items that the Supplier is required to supply and install under the Contract.

  • Seller Confidential Information has the meaning set forth in Section 6.4.3.

  • Purchaser Confidential Information means all confidential or proprietary documents and information concerning the Purchaser or any of its Representatives; provided, however, that Purchaser Confidential Information shall not include any information which, (i) at the time of disclosure by the Company, the Seller Representative or any of their respective Representatives, is generally available publicly and was not disclosed in breach of this Agreement or (ii) at the time of the disclosure by the Purchaser or its Representatives to the Company, the Seller Representative or any of their respective Representatives, was previously known by such receiving party without violation of Law or any confidentiality obligation by the Person receiving such Purchaser Confidential Information. For the avoidance of doubt, from and after the Closing, Purchaser Confidential Information will include the confidential or proprietary information of the Target Companies.

  • Information Technology (IT means data processing, telecommunications, and office systems technologies and services:

  • Member Information means the share, deposit, loan account balances, or other information related to any member of a domestic credit union maintained in any form.

  • Student Personal Information means information collected through a school service that personally identifies an individual student or other information collected and maintained about an individual student that is linked to information that identifies an individual student, as identified by Washington Compact Provision 28A.604.010. For purposes of this DPA, Student Personal Information is referred to as Student Data.

  • Program Information is defined in Section 13.8(a)(i).

  • State Confidential Information means any and all State Records not subject to disclosure under CORA. State Confidential Information shall include, but is not limited to, PII, PHI, PCI, Tax Information, CJI, and State personnel records not subject to disclosure under CORA. State Confidential Information shall not include information or data concerning individuals that is not deemed confidential but nevertheless belongs to the State, which has been communicated, furnished, or disclosed by the State to Contractor which (i) is subject to disclosure pursuant to CORA; (ii) is already known to Contractor without restrictions at the time of its disclosure to Contractor; (iii) is or subsequently becomes publicly available without breach of any obligation owed by Contractor to the State; (iv) is disclosed to Contractor, without confidentiality obligations, by a third party who has the right to disclose such information; or (v) was independently developed without reliance on any State Confidential Information.
