Initial Participants definition

Initial Participants means, for the purpose of this Agreement the County of Alameda, the Cities of Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, Piedmont, San Leandro, Hayward, Union City, Fremont, Dublin, and Livermore.

• During the first 180 days after the Effective Date, all other Initial Participants may become a Party by executing this Agreement and delivering an executed copy of this Agreement and a copy of the adopted ordinance required by Public Utilities Code Section 366.2(c)(10) to the Authority.

• This Agreement shall become effective and Marin Energy Authority shall exist as a separate public agency on the date this Agreement is executed by at least two Initial Participants after the adoption of the ordinances required by Public Utilities Code Section 366.2(c)(10).
