Insured Launch Activities definition

Insured Launch Activities means the activities carried out by either Party or the Related Third Parties of either Party in accordance with the terms of this Contract at the launch site and the Satellite processing facility, including transportation of the Satellite from the Satellite processing facility to the launch site and, if required, transportation of the Satellite from the launch site to the Satellite processing facility.
Insured Launch Activities shall have the meaning set forth in Section 9.1 of this Agreement.
Insured Launch Activities means the activities carried out by either Party or the Related Third Parties of either Party in accordance with the terms of this Contract and, in the case of Launch Service(s) licensed under the CSLA, the launch license issued to Contractor by the Office of the Associate Administrator for Commercial Space Transportation (or any successor agency thereto) to conduct the Launch Service(s), at the Launch Site and the Satellite processing facility wherever located, including transportation of the Satellite from the Satellite processing facility to the Launch Site and, if required, transportation of the Satellite from the Launch Site to the Satellite processing facility, the use by Contractor of United States Government launch facilities at the Launch Site, activities carried out by the United States Government at the Launch Site relating to the conduct of Launch Service(s) and the Launch from the Launch Site.

Examples of Insured Launch Activities in a sentence

  • Contractor shall procure and maintain in effect insurance for third party liability to provide for the payment of claims resulting from property loss or damage or bodily injury, including death, sustained by Third Parties caused by an occurrence resulting from Insured Launch Activities.

  • Duration of coverage for damage, loss or injury sustained by Third Parties arising in any manner in connection with Insured Launch Activities shall be in accordance with the Commercial Space Launch Act, its supporting regulations, and the applicable launch license.

  • Contractor shall procure and maintain in effect insurance for third party liability to provide for the payment of claims resulting from property loss or damage or bodily injury, including death, sustained by Third Parties caused by an occurrence resulting from Insured Launch Activities **** per occurrence and in the aggregate and shall be subject to standard industry exclusions and/or limitations, including, but not limited to, exclusions and/or limitations with regard to terrorism.

  • Coverage for damage, loss or injury sustained by Third Parties arising in any manner in connection with Insured Launch Activities shall attach upon arrival of the Satellite at the launch site and will terminate upon the earlier to occur of the return of all parts of the Launch Vehicle to Earth or twelve (12) months following the date of Launch, unless the Satellite is removed from the launch site other than by Launch, in which case, coverage shall extend only until such removal.

  • Coverage for damage, loss or injury sustained by Third Parties arising in any manner in connection with Insured Launch Activities shall attach upon arrival of the Satellite at the launch site and will terminate upon the earlier to occur of the return of all parts of the Launch Vehicle to Earth or [***] months following the date of Launch, unless the Satellite is removed from the launch site other than by Launch, in which case, coverage shall extend only until such removal.

  • Insurance Contractor shall procure and maintain in effect insurance for third party liability to provide for the payment of claims resulting from property loss or damage or bodily injury, including death, sustained by Third Parties caused by an occurrence resulting from Insured Launch Activities.

  • Coverage for damage, loss or injury sustained by Third Parties arising in any manner in connection with Insured Launch Activities shall attach upon arrival of the Spacecraft at the Launch Site and will terminate upon the earlier to occur [***] following the date of Launch, unless the Spacecraft is removed from the Launch Site other than by Launch, in which case, coverage shall extend only until such removal.


More Definitions of Insured Launch Activities

Insured Launch Activities means (i) the activities carried out by either Party or the Related Third Parties of either Party in accordance with the terms of this Contract and the launch license to be issued under the CSLA to Launch Provider by the Office of the Associate Administrator for Commercial Space Transportation (or any successor agency thereto) to conduct the Launch Service at the Launch Site, including transportation of the Spacecraft between the various locations of the Launch Site, (ii) the use by Launch Provider of United States Government launch facilities at the Launch Site, (iii) activities carried out by the United States Government at the Launch Site relating to the conduct of Launch Service, and (iv) the Launch from the Launch Site.
Insured Launch Activities means the activities carried out by either Party or the Related Third Parties of either Party in accordance with the terms of this Contract and, in the case of Launch Service(s) licensed under the CSLA, the launch license issued to Contractor by the Office of the Associate Administrator for Commercial Space Transportation (or any successor agency thereto) to conduct the Launch Service(s), at the launch site and the Satellite processing facility wherever located, including transportation of the Satellite from the Satellite processing facility to the launch site, the use by Contractor of United States Government launch facilities at the launch site, activities carried out by the United States Government at the launch site relating to the conduct of Launch Service(s) and the Launch from the launch site.
Insured Launch Activities means the activities carried out by either Party or Related Third Parties of either Party in accordance with the terms of this Contract at the Launch Site, including transportation of the Spacecraft within the Launch Site and Launch. Intentional Ignition means the ignition of the first-stage engine(s) of the Launch Vehicle that has been integrated with the Spacecraft. Intentional Ignition can be followed by either (i) physical separation from the Launch pad and the ground support equipment; or (ii) total loss or destruction of the Spacecraft or the Launch Vehicle; or (iii) Terminated Ignition. Interface Control Document means Exhibit 2 to this Contract once signed by both Parties.
Insured Launch Activities. Intentional Ignition means (a) for Atlas, the point in time during the launch countdown when the engine start command is issued, causing the start bottle to be pressurized and hypergolics to enter the chamber, and (b) for Proton, the ignition of the first-stage motor(s) of the Launch Vehicle. L means the first day of the Launch Period, Launch Slot, or Launch Date, whichever is in then effect. Launch [CONFIDENTIAL MATERIAL REDACTED] Launch Date means the calendar date within the Launch Slot during which the Launch is scheduled to occur, as established in accordance with Article 6 entitled "Launch Schedule" and as such Launch Date may be adjusted in accordance with Article 7 entitled "Launch Schedule Adjustments." Related to Insured Launch Activities

  • Commercial Launch means the first commercial sale in the Territory of the Product by Par, its Affiliate or a permitted sublicensee, as the case may be, to a Third Party.

  • Development Activities means those activities which are normally undertaken for the development, construction, rehabilitation or conversion of buildings for residential purposes, including the acquisition of property;

  • High Risk Activities means uses such as the operation of nuclear facilities, air traffic control, or life support systems, where the use or failure of the Services could lead to death, personal injury, or environmental damage.

  • Commercial Activities means activities conducted on a commercial basis.

(“NASD”) adopts a definition of “service fee” for purposes of Section 2830(b)(9) of the NASD Conduct Rules or any successor provision that differs from the definition of “service activities” hereunder, or if the NASD adopts a related interpretive position intended to define the same concept, the definition of “service activities” in this paragraph shall be automatically amended, without further action of the parties, to conform to the then effective NASD definition. Overhead and other expenses related to “distribution activities” or “service activities,” including telephone and other communications expenses, may be included in the information regarding amounts expended for these activities.

  • Development Activity means any activity defined as Development which will necessitate a Floodplain Development Permit. This includes buildings, structures, and non-structural items, including (but not limited to) fill, bulkheads, piers, pools, docks, landings, ramps, and erosion control/stabilization measures.

  • Service Territory means the geographic area within which PG&E as a Utility Distribution Company is authorized and required to provide electric transmission and distribution service.

  • Activities has the meaning specified in Section 7.02(b).

  • Research facility means buildings and structures, including machinery and equipment, used or to be used primarily for research or experimentation to improve or develop new tangible goods or materials or to improve or develop the production processes thereto.

  • Clinical Trials means a controlled study in humans of the safety or efficacy of a Product, and includes, without limitation, such clinical trials as are designed to support expanded labeling or to satisfy the requirements of an Agency in connection with any Product Approval and any other human study used in research and Development of a Product.

  • Covered Activities means those land uses and conservation and other activities described in Chapter 2.3 of the HCP/NCCP to be carried out by the Conservancy or its agents that may result in Authorized Take of Covered Species during the term of the HCP/NCCP, and that are otherwise lawful.
