Intervention definition

Intervention means any action intended to reduce or avert exposure or the likelihood of exposure to sources which are not part of a controlled practice or which are out of control as a consequence of an accident;
Intervention means a form of educational communication utilized by the Board with a prescriber or pharmacist to inform about or to influence prescribing or dispensing practices.

Examples of Intervention in a sentence

  • The purpose of the meeting, and subsequent meetings if necessary, is to ensure that the Student’s IEP plan provides placement and services that are adequate to meet all of the Student’s individual disability-related needs, including, but not limited to, the development of a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) that adequately addresses behavioral issues within the classroom, to ensure that he is not unduly removed from class.
