Job Change definition

Job Change means any change in an Eligible Employee’s job duties that is deemed significant by the Company in its sole and absolute discretion. No determination by the Company as to the significance of any such change shall be deemed a precedent or shall limit in any way the Company’s sole and absolute discretion in deciding whether any change in any Eligible Employee’s job duties is significant.
Job Change has the meaning given in clause 3.3(h).
Job Change means either (i) a decrease in the Total Pay Package of an Eligible Employee’s current job, (ii) a transfer of an Eligible Employee to another job having a lesser Total Pay Package, or (iii) the imposition of significantly different job duties, shift, work location or number of scheduled work hours.

Examples of Job Change in a sentence

  • Employees filling a vacancy under this section will serve a six (6) month Internal Job Change Evaluation Period in accordance with the provisions of Section 20.2.

  • After receipt of such request, Nortel shall submit a Job Change Order ("JCO") to Buyer for Buyer's approval with respect to the requested Change, except that Nortel shall be under no obligation to submit such JCO to Buyer if Nortel determines that the Price applicable to such Order would be reduced by more than ten percent (10%) as a result of the implementation of the Change.

  • During a period between the 30th and 110th days of the Internal Job Change Evaluation Period the supervisor shall communicate in writing to the employee which duties/responsibilities are being performed at an acceptable level, which need improvement and what steps the employee should take to achieve the necessary improvement.

  • Any Internal Job Change Evaluation Period may be extended by mutual agreement of the employee, the Human Resources Department, the employee’s supervisor and the Union.

  • If the supervisor fails to perform this evaluation by the close of business on the 110th day of the evaluation period, the balance of the Internal Job Change Evaluation Period is waived and the employee is no longer in an evaluation period.

  • A removal from a position may occur only during an internal job change evaluation period (see Section 20.2 (Internal Job Change Evaluation Period)).

  • Lateral Job Change A lateral change is when a bargaining unit employee moves from one job to another in the same pay range.

  • However this will not preclude an employee from being considered for a job posting more frequently, provided the employee has indicated their desire for a specific position by completing the Job Change Request Form as detailed in clause 22.03 and filing the form with the office.

  • Following the termination of all probationary employees, employees serving an Internal Job Change Evaluation Period, beginning with the least senior employee in the same classification and the same work unit, will be removed or terminated consistent with Section 20.2 prior to the layoff of any other regular employee under Section 19.1.

  • After receipt of such request, Nortel shall submit a Job Change Order ("JCO") to Buyer for Buyer's approval with respect to the requested Change.

Related to Job Change

  • Service Change has the meaning set forth in Section 2(B) of the Agreement.

  • Major Change means a change in the Employer’s program, production, organisation, physical workplace, workplace arrangements, structure or technology that is likely to have a Significant Effect on Employees.

  • Scope Change means any change to the scope of a contract to accommodate a need not originally provided for in the contract and which may include the acquisition of additional deliverables or the extension of the term of the contract and which may require an adjustment to the contract price;

  • Program change means any elimination, curtailment, or reorganization of a curriculum offering, program, or school operation or a reorganization or consolidation of two or more individual schools or school districts that is unrelated to financial exigency.

  • Design Change is a change in work and/or materials shown in the Schedule of Items and described in Plans or specifications that has been mutually agreed to in writing or ordered by Contracting Officer. Changes of a minor nature (such as adjustment in horizontal and vertical alignment, that do not exceed specified tolerance, necessary to maintain or balance earthwork quantities substantially as designed) and variation in quantities, as described in B5.251, shall not be considered Design Changes.
