Major Checks definition

Major Checks means an Airframe 6 Year Block Structural Check, and an Airframe 12 Year Block Structural Check, and any similar check as determined by the Manufacturer;
Major Checks means any "D" check, "C" check, multiple "C" check (including all lower checks and all other items that are due before the next "C" check), heavy structural inspection (or equivalent), structural inspection or annual heavy maintenance visit or segment thereof for commercial aircraft of the same model as the Aircraft as set out in the Approved Maintenance Program.
Major Checks means any C check, multiple C check or heavier check (including structural inspections and a corrosion prevention and control program) recommended for commercial aircraft of the same model as the Aircraft by its manufacturer (however denominated) as set out in the Lessee's Maintenance Program.

Examples of Major Checks in a sentence

  • Lessee shall give Lessor reasonable prior notice of the date of, and any change in the date of, any Major Checks, in order to enable Lessor, or its agents, representatives or designees, to inspect the Aircraft, including, without limitation, the Aircraft Documentation (should Lessor choose to do so), at the time and place any such Major Checks occur and to make a reasonable number of photocopies of any Aircraft Documentation.

  • Lessee shall give Lessor reasonable prior notice of the date of, and any change in the date of, any Major Checks, in order to enable Lessor, or its agents, representatives or designees, to inspect the Aircraft at the time and place any such Major Checks occur.

  • During such Major Checks, Lessee agrees to provide sufficient manpower to allow Lessor, or its authorized representatives, to inspect any area of the Aircraft which Lessor requests to inspect and which would normally be required during such a Major Check, provided that such inspection is to be made only at the time that Lessee opens up such area in accordance with the Approved Maintenance Program.

More Definitions of Major Checks

Major Checks means each of the MSG-3 packages P-1 through P-6, inclusive, as set out in the Agreed Maintenance Program, and any other heavy maintenance visit or segment thereof suggested for commercial aircraft of the same model as the Aircraft by its Manufacturer.
Major Checks means any 12,000 hours check, 24,000 hours check or intersupplementary check or segment thereof or any equivalent thereof with more or less hours, however denominated, to the extent set out in the Approved Maintenance Program from time to time.
Major Checks means the 6 Year Check and the 12 Year Check.
Major Checks means any C Check, multiple C Check or heavier check (including structural inspections and CPCP) recommended for the Aircraft by its Manufacturer (however denominated) as set out in the Lessee’s Maintenance Program. Manufacturer means the manufacturer of the Airframe or an Engine, as the case may be, as identified in the Aircraft Lease Agreement. Manufacturer’s Maintenance Planning Document or MPD means the recommended maintenance program for the Aircraft issued by the Manufacturer as in effect at the time of any applicable determination. Minimum Component Cycles has the meaning given in the Aircraft Lease Agreement.
Major Checks means any heavy maintenance visit or segment thereof suggested for commercial aircraft of the same model as the Aircraft by its Manufacturer.
Major Checks means any C check, multiple C check or heavier check (including associated structural inspections and corrosion prevention and control items) for the Aircraft as set out in the Approved Maintenance Program. MANDATORY ORDER OR MO a mandatory order issued by the FAA and/or the AAC.
