Equivalent Time Off. Overtime as provided in Article 14.09 where a full-time nurse chooses equivalent time off, such time off will be taken at a mutually agreeable time. A nurse can only have a maximum of seventy-five (75) hours in her or his bank at any time. Banked time must be taken within the fiscal year it is earned or it will be paid out unless there is written approval from Human Resources.

Equivalent Time Off. Overtime as provided in Article 14.09 where a full-time employee chooses equivalent time off, such time will be taken at a mutually agreeable time from date earned. Responses to requests for time off will be responded to within fourteen (14) days. Banked days will be paid out at the employee’s request. Lieu hours remaining to the employee’s credit in excess of 37.5 hours shall be paid out to the employee by the Hospital by March 31st. In the event of a dispute, seniority shall prevail for approval.
Equivalent Time Off. M.1 Time off for nurses as provided for in Article 14.09 may be taken at a mutually agreeable time. Nurses shall be allowed to carry a total of not more than the equivalent of nine (9) extended tour shifts beyond April 30th of each year. All hours over and above the nine (9) shifts shall be paid out in accordance with Article 14.09 in the first pay period of May in each year. The nurse may elect to have her or his full bank paid out at any time by providing written notice to the Hospital. It is understood that Article 14.09 is applicable to part-time nurses.

Equivalent Time Off. A. When a holiday falls on an employee's scheduled day off or an employee is required to work on a holiday, equivalent time off will be granted within the following twelve month period at a time convenient to the employee and consistent with the Employer's operational needs. Where practicable, and within program units, the Employer will attempt to equalize holidays among those employees requesting such time off. In lieu of equivalent time off as provided for in this section, an employee who works a holiday may choose to receive double time cash payment, except an employee who works on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or Labor Day may choose to receive double time and one-half cash payment in lieu of time off. When an employee works a double shift on a holiday, either the actual holiday or the observed holiday, he/she shall receive equivalent time off or cash payment in the amounts specified above for the second shift as well as the first shift. B. Nothing herein shall preclude employees on the active payroll from receiving less than the number of days off, set forth in Section 1 of this Article, with pay as a result of application of this or other provisions of this Agreement except as provided for in Section 11 of this Article.
Equivalent Time Off. At the Employer’s option, when a holiday falls on an Employee’s scheduled day off or an Employee works on a holiday, equivalent time off may be granted to the Employee within the fiscal year provided the Employee works their regularly-scheduled work day before and their regularly-scheduled work day after the scheduled equivalent time off unless it is an approved scheduled day off. The use of sick leave shall not be considered an approved scheduled day off. This language shall also apply to the use of accumulated equivalent time off. Employees may not accumulate more than five (5) equivalent time off days. Equivalent time off may be granted on the day requested by the Employee, scheduling permitted. If not used at the end of the fiscal year the Employee shall be paid for the same provided, that Employees will be given until January 31st of the following fiscal year to use any holidays earned but not taken in November of the current fiscal year.
