Whenever it can be reasonably determined that a bargaining unit position will be available for a period of sixty (60) or more consecutively scheduled workdays, an employee will be hired and become a Member of the bargaining unit with full rights, benefits, and obligations of this Agreement, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by both parties; however, the layoff provisions of this Agreement will not apply to such Members who are hired to replace Members on leave.
A Member of the bargaining unit who desires transfer to another site must make application for posted positions at any time in accordance with provisions of the posting using the online current opening procedures.
