Member of the Bargaining Unit definition

Member of the Bargaining Unit means a sworn Police Officer covered by the provisions of Subchapter I of Chapter 143 of the TLGC, except as modified in Article 1 of this Agreement.
Member of the Bargaining Unit means any Employee who is a member of the classified service of the Fire Department, whether or not such Employees are members of the Association.
Member of the Bargaining Unit means a member of Local 61 appointed by the Local for the purposes of Article 42.01 above. The Local agrees to advise the Employer of the name of the bargaining unit member appointed for the purpose of Article 42.01 above.

  • Whenever it can be reasonably determined that a bargaining unit position will be available for a period of sixty (60) or more consecutively scheduled workdays, an employee will be hired and become a Member of the bargaining unit with full rights, benefits, and obligations of this Agreement, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by both parties; however, the layoff provisions of this Agreement will not apply to such Members who are hired to replace Members on leave.

  • A Member of the bargaining unit who desires transfer to another site must make application for posted positions at any time in accordance with provisions of the posting using the online current opening procedures.

  • Member of the bargaining unit and administrator project participants recommend whether or not the evaluation data substantiates the need for continuation/expansion of the project or rejection of the project.

  • Each appropriate Member of the bargaining unit shall develop or revise his/her course of study once every five (5) years.

  • Lead Instructor – a Member of the bargaining unit who voluntarily applies and is selected to provide professional support to an individual within the first four (4) years of employment working under a resident educator license or alternative resident educator license.

  • Any Member of the bargaining unit who meets the selection criteria established in Section 3 below and wishes to be part of the Lead Instructor pool shall make his/her interest known to the Superintendent or designee in writing.

Member of the Bargaining Unit means a member of the Stockton Federation of Teachers, Local 2275, who is employed by Stockton University as defined in Article I of the Full-time/Part-time and in the Adjunct Faculty Collective Negotiated Agreements respectively.
