Network Security Breach definition

Network Security Breach means any:
Network Security Breach means:1. unauthorised access to or unauthorised use of any Computer Systems by any person not an Insured under this Policy;2. a denial of service attack against anyComputer Systems; or3. infection of any Computer Systems by a malicious code or transmission of a malicious code from any Computer Systems.
Network Security Breach means any: 1. unauthorized access to, or unauthorized use of, a Computer System; or 2. transmission of Malicious Code into or from a Computer System.

Examples of Network Security Breach in a sentence

  • The Cyber Management Deductible shown in the Schedule of this endorsement applies to Cyber Management Expenses, Damages, Credit Monitoring Costs and Claim Expenses incurred in each Network Security Breach, Privacy Violation or Interrelated Breaches/Violations.

  • Crisis Management Costs resulting from all Network Security Breaches and Privacy Violations combined shall also be subject to the Network Security Breach & Privacy Violation Sublimit of Liability specified in item 6.E of the Declarations.

  • The Insurer shall pay Data Incident Response Expenses, in excess of the Retention, on behalf of an Insured resulting from a Network Security Breach or Privacy Violation occurring during the Policy Period, provided that Data Incident Response Expenses will not exceed the applicable Sub-limit of Liability stated in Item 7 of the Declarations per Policy Period.

  • If, during or prior to the Policy Period, any entity ceases to be a Subsidiary, then coverage for such entity and its Insureds will continue until termination of this Policy but only for any Wrongful Act, Business Interruption, Security Threat, or Privacy Threat occurring prior to the date such entity ceased to be a Subsidiary, or any Network Security Breach or Privacy Violation discovered prior to the date such entity ceased to be a Subsidiary.

  • The Company’s Sub-Limit of Liability for Data Incident Response Expense each Network Security Breach or Privacy Violation, is specified in Paragraph 1.D. of this Endorsement.

  • Data Incident Response Expenses The Insurer shall pay Data Incident Response Expenses on behalf of an Insured resulting from a Network Security Breach or Privacy Violation occurring after the Retroactive Date specified in the schedule on the Individual Certificate of Insurance and prior to the end of the Policy Period.

  • If written notice of a Network Security Breach or Privacy Violation, Business Interruption, Security Threat, or Privacy Threat, has been given to the Insurer pursuant to B.

  • The Retentions, shown in the Schedule of this endorsement, apply to Cyber Management Expenses, Damages, Credit Monitoring Costs, Claim Expenses, Extortion Payments, Business Income and Extra Expenses or First Party Loss incurred in each Network Security Breach, Privacy Violation, Interrelated Breaches/Violations, Extortion Demand, Exploit or Network Impairment.

  • No coverage will be available for any Wrongful Act, Network Security Breach or Privacy Violation, Business Interruption, Security Threats, or Privacy Threat occurring after such transaction.

  • The Insurer shall pay Network Security or Privacy Loss on behalf of an Insured resulting from a Network Security or Privacy Claim first made against an Insured during the Policy Period arising from a Network Security Breach or Privacy Violation occurring after the Retroactive Date specified on the Individual Certificate of Insurance and prior to the end of the Policy Period.


More Definitions of Network Security Breach

Network Security Breach means a "wrongful breach" by an "organization" in the conduct of "network security activities".
Network Security Breach means a "wrongful act", "wrongful employment act" or "third party wrongful act" by an insured in the conduct of "network security activities".
Network Security Breach means the malicious, intentional and wilful misuse of your computer system to modify or delete data or deny legitimate user access to your computer system; except, however, for purposes of Insuring Agreement B.(ii), network security breach shall mean the malicious, intentional and wilful misuse of the computer system of a service provider to modify or delete data or deny legitimate user access to that service provider’s computer system.

  • Data Security Breach means a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to, Personal Data transmitted, stored, or otherwise processed.

  • Security Breach means (i) any act or omission that materially compromises either the security, confidentiality or integrity of Named Entity Protected Data, or the physical, technical, administrative or organizational safeguards put in place by Vendor or any Authorized Persons that relate to the protection of the security, confidentiality or integrity of Named Entity Protected Data, (ii) receipt of a complaint in relation to the privacy practices of Vendor or any Authorized Persons or a breach or alleged breach of this Contract relating to such privacy practices.

  • Information Security Breach means the unauthorized acquisition, access, use, disclosure, transmittal, storage or transportation of Confidential Information which is not permitted by law or by the terms of this Amendment, including, but not limited to, a Security Incident.

  • Data Breach means the unauthorized access by an unauthorized person that results in the use, disclosure or theft of Customer Data.

  • Data Breaches Party shall report to AHS, though its Chief Information Officer (CIO), any impermissible use or disclosure that compromises the security, confidentiality or privacy of any form of protected personal information identified above within 24 hours of the discovery of the breach. Party shall in addition comply with any other data breach notification requirements required under federal or state law.

  • Customer Default has the meaning set out in clause 8.3.

  • Privacy Breach means a common law breach of confidence, infringement, or violation of any rights to privacy, including but not limited to breach of “Your” privacy statement, breach of a person’s right of publicity, wrongful collection, false light, intrusion upon a person’s seclusion, public disclosure of “Private Information”, or misappropriation of a person’s picture or name for commercial gain.

  • Network User means a customer or a potential customer of a transmission system operator, and transmission system operators themselves in so far as it is necessary for them to carry out their functions in relation to transmission;

  • Network Service Provider means the undertaking appointed by the ECB's Governing Council to provide computerised network connections for the purpose of submitting payment messages in TARGET2,

  • Breach of system security means unauthorized acquisition of computerized data that compromises the security, confidentiality, or integrity of sensitive personal information maintained by a person, including data that is encrypted if the person accessing the data has the key required to decrypt the data. Good faith acquisition of sensitive personal information by an employee or agent of the person for the purposes of the person is not a breach of system security unless the person uses or discloses the sensitive personal information in an unauthorized manner. Business and Commerce Code 521.053(a)

  • Data Security Incident means a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to, Agreement Personal Data transmitted, stored or otherwise Processed;

  • Cyber Security Incident means any malicious or suspicious event that disrupts, or was an attempt to disrupt, the operation of those programmable electronic devices and communications networks including hardware, software and data that are essential to the Reliable Operation of the Bulk Power System.++

Failure to comply with Law, or actions or omissions by the Provider that endanger the Health or Safety of Learners, Provider Personnel, and all other persons including members of the public would constitute a Serious Breach;

  • Contractor Default shall have the meaning set forth in Clause 23.1;

  • Network plan means a policy of group health insurance offered by an insurer under which the financing and delivery of medical care, including items and services paid for as medical care, are provided, in whole or in part, through a defined set of providers under contract with the insurer. The term does not include an arrangement for the financing of premiums.

  • Disaster means a sudden emergency occurrence beyond the control of the licensee, whether natural, technological, or man-made, that renders the licensee unable to operate the facility or makes the facility uninhabitable.

  • Relevant Force Majeure Event means a Force Majeure Event in relation to which an Affected Party is claiming relief under this Clause 17; and

  • Personal Data Breach means a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored, or otherwise processed.

  • Network pharmacy means any pharmacy that has an agreement to accept our pharmacy allowance for prescription drugs and diabetic equipment/supplies covered under this agreement. All other pharmacies are NON-NETWORK PHARMACIES. The one exception and for the purpose of specialty Prescription Drugs, only specialty pharmacies that have an agreement to accept our pharmacy allowance are network pharmacies and all others pharmacies are non-network pharmacies.

  • Cybersecurity Incident means an event occurring on or conducted through a computer network that actually or imminently jeopardizes the integrity, confidentiality, or availability of computers, information or communications systems or networks, physical or virtual infrastructure controlled by computers or information systems, or information resident on any of these. Cybersecurity incident includes, but is not limited to, the existence of a vulnerability in an information system, system security procedures, internal controls, or implementation that is subject to exploitation.

  • Network Load means the load that a Network Customer designates for Network Integration Transmission Service under Tariff, Part III. The Network Customer’s Network Load shall include all load (including losses) served by the output of any Network Resources designated by the Network Customer. A Network Customer may elect to designate less than its total load as Network Load but may not designate only part of the load at a discrete Point of Delivery. Where an Eligible Customer has elected not to designate a particular load at discrete points of delivery as Network Load, the Eligible Customer is responsible for making separate arrangements under Tariff, Part II for any Point-To-Point Transmission Service that may be necessary for such non-designated load.

  • Network Service means a Service provided by means of the Network.

  • Network Element is As Defined in the Act.

  • Network Services means the equipment, software, and services necessary to transmit voice, data, or video.

  • Network Operator means the provider of the Network.

  • Third Party Service Provider means any consultant, agent, advisor, or independent contractor who renders services to the Company, a Subsidiary, or an Affiliate that (a) are not in connection with the offer and sale of the Company’s securities in a capital raising transaction, and (b) do not directly or indirectly promote or maintain a market for the Company’s securities.
