Nice Classification definition

Nice Classification means the classification established by the Nice Agreement Concerning the International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purposes of the Registration of Marks, signed at Nice on June 15, 1957, as revised and amended;
Nice Classification means the international classification of goods and services, approved by the Nice Agreement concerning International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purposes of the Registration of Marks of 15 June 1957, as revised at Stockholm on 14 July 1967, at Geneva on 13 May 1977 and amended in Geneva on 2 October 1979.
Nice Classification means the classification of goods and services for the registration of marks published from time to time under the Nice Agreement;

Examples of Nice Classification in a sentence

  • Where goods and/or services belonging to several classes of the Nice Classification have been included in one and the same application, such an application shall result in one and the same registration.

  • One and the same application may relate to several goods and/or services, irrespective of whether they belong to one class or to several classes of the Nice Classification.

  • Currently the Nice Classification consists of 34 classes (1-34) to categorise goods and 11 classes (35-45) to categorise services.
