Node Software definition

Node Software means the software provided by Hedera for the purpose of creating and operating a Node that creates, sends, receives, and/or transmits information to the Hedera Network, runs the hashgraph algorithm to assign transactions a consensus timestamp and order, and offers one or more services supported by the Hedera Network. For the avoidance of doubt, “Node Software” does not mean software to run a “mirror node” on the Hedera mirror node network, a parallel network dedicated to propagating the state and transaction history of the main Hedera Network.
Node Software means the open source software provided under an Apache 2.0 license for the purpose of creating and operating a Node that creates, sends, receives, and/or transmits information to the Hedera Network, runs the hashgraph algorithm to assign transactions a consensus timestamp and order, and offers one or more services supported by the Hedera Network. For the avoidance of doubt, “Node Software” does not mean software to run a “mirror node” on the Hedera mirror node network, a parallel network dedicated to propagating the state and transaction history of the main Hedera Network.
Node Software means the software provided or otherwise made available by Company that creates, sends, receives, or transmits information to the xx network, runs the consensus algorithm of the xx network, and offers one or more applications or services supported by xx network.

Examples of Node Software in a sentence

  • The Node Software is licensed pursuant to the Apache 2.0 license and not sold, and all rights not expressly granted thereby to each Member are reserved, including any and all worldwide rights in or to all Intellectual Property Rights in and to the Node Software.

  • Subject to the terms and conditions of these Member Node Terms, Xxxxxx grants each Member a license to use any documentation provided by Hedera in connection with the Node Software pursuant to the CC BY 4.0 license.

  • Each Member must comply strictly with all United States and international export controls and shall not export, re-export, transfer or divert any of the Node Software or any direct product thereof, to any destination, end-use, or end user that is prohibited or restricted under any United States or international export control laws and regulations.

Node Software means any of the following: • Zookeeper • Xxxxx server • Replicator/Xxxxx Connect • Mirror Maker • Confluent Control Center • Auto Data Balancer • Rest Proxy • Schema Registry • Any application that uses Xxxxx Streams. For the avoidance of doubt, Node Software does not include an application that uses only the client API (i.e., Xxxxx Producer/Consumer). A Node is classified as either a “Production Node,” a “Pre-Production Node” or a “Development Node.”
Node Software has the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 1.42.

Related to Node Software

  • Licensed Software includes error corrections, upgrades, enhancements or new releases, and any deliverables due under a maintenance or service contract (e.g., patches, fixes, PTFs, programs, code or data conversion, or custom programming).

  • Embedded Software means one or more software applications which permanently reside on a computing device.

  • Client Software means software that allows a Device to access or utilize the services or functionality provided by the Server Software.

  • Supported Software means the supported software identified in the Proposal. System means the designated information technology environment in which the Software is to be used. Term means the term of this Agreement specified in clause 2.

  • Software Updates means the Software releases, service packs, build updates or emergency fixes released from time to time in accordance with the Vocera’s update policy for such Software.

  • Third Party Software means software which is proprietary to any third party (other than an Affiliate of the Contractor) which is or will be used by the Contractor for the purposes of providing the Services.

  • Company Software means Software owned or purported to be owned by or developed by or for the Company or any Company Subsidiary.

  • Open Source Software means software or similar subject matter that is distributed under an open source license such as (by way of example only) the GNU General Public License, GNU Lesser General Public License, Apache License, Mozilla Public License, BSD License, MIT License, Common Public License, any derivative of any of the foregoing licenses, or any other license approved as an open source license by the Open Source Initiative or as a free software license by the Free Software Foundation.
