Observation Level definition

Observation Level means [the Opening Level] [the lowest Closing Level observed on each Scheduled Observation Date] [the highest Closing Level observed on each Scheduled Observation Date] [the level of the Asset][the Rate of Interest] observed by the Calculation Agent on the relevant [Initial Valuation Date] [Scheduled Observation Date] at [insert time] [the level of the relevant Asset scheduled to be published by the Inflation Index Sponsor for the Reference Month of [] where the relevant Asset Class is an Inflation Index].

Examples of Observation Level in a sentence

  • One of our affiliates will be the calculation agent for the notes and, as such, will determine each Observation Level, the Starting Value, the Threshold Value, the Ending Value, the Call Amount, and the Redemption Amount.

  • This Global Note shall be automatically called and subject to mandatory redemption if the Observation Level of the Market Measure on any Observation Date is equal to or greater than the applicable Call Level.

  • The Calculation Agent, in it sole discretion, may adjust the Price Multiplier, and hence the Observation Level and the Ending Value, as applicable, if an event described below occurs on or before the Final Observation Date and the Calculation Agent determines that such an event has a diluting or concentrative effect on the theoretical value of the shares of the Market Measure, or Successor Market Measure.


More Definitions of Observation Level

Observation Level means the Index Level on the relevant Scheduled Observation Date specified in the table below.
