Open Flying definition

Open Flying means trips and portions of trips which, after the schedule selection process, remain unassigned or become unassigned due to any pilot absence.

Open Flying. Means flights or pairings that are unassigned to Flight Attendants.

Open Flying means all flying not included in bid runs. Bid run flights vacated due to Flight Attendant's scheduled adjustment, illness, vacations, leaves of absence, extra sections, or other Company approved absences will become open flying.

• On a Tuesday, Crew Scheduling will award flights in Open Flying that depart on the following Saturday, and so on.

• It is also understood that this premium is not paid when a CCM volunteers for additional flying through Open Flying, Availability or Mutual Switches/Giveaways.
