OWNER’S RIGHT TO STOP THE WORK. If the Contractor fails to correct Work that is not in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents as required by Section 12.2 or repeatedly fails to carry out Work in accordance with the Contract Documents, the Owner may issue a written order to the Contractor to stop the Work, or any portion thereof, until the cause for such order has been eliminated; however, the right of the Owner to stop the Work shall not give rise to a duty on the part of the Owner to exercise this right for the benefit of the Contractor or any other person or entity.

OWNER’S RIGHT TO STOP THE WORK. 2.3.1 In the opinion of the Owner, if the Contractor fails to correct Work which is not in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents as required by Paragraph 12.2 or persistently fails to carry out Work in accordance with the Contract Documents, the Owner by written order, may direct the Contractor to stop the Work, or any portion thereof, until the cause for such order has been eliminated; however, the right of the Owner to stop the Work shall not give rise to a duty on the part of the Owner to exercise this right for the benefit of the Contractor or any other person or entity, except to the extent required by Subparagraph 6.1.3.
OWNER’S RIGHT TO STOP THE WORK. If the Design/Builder persistently fails to correct Work which is not in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents and this Agreement or persistently fails to carry out the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents, the Owner, by written order signed by the Owner, may deliver a notice to the Design/Builder setting forth that such a persistent and material failure is occurring and has occurred, and demanding that the Design/Builder commence a cure of such persistent and material failure within twenty (20) Days and diligently pursue such cure thereafter. In the event that the cure is not commenced and pursued diligently, the Owner may, by written notice to the Design/Builder, order the Design/Builder to stop the Work, or any portion thereof, until the cause for such order has been eliminated; provided, however, that the right of the Owner to stop the Work shall not give rise to a duty on the part of the Owner to exercise this right for the benefit of the Design/Builder or any other person or entity and shall not give rise to any liability of the Owner to the Design/Builder resulting from any delay.
OWNER’S RIGHT TO STOP THE WORK. If the Prime Contractor fails to correct any portion of the Work which is not in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents as required by Paragraph 12.2 or refuses or fails to carry out all or any part of the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents, the Owner, by written order, may order the Prime Contractor to stop the Work, or any portion of the Work, until the cause for the order has been eliminated. The right of the Owner however, to stop the Work shall not create or imply a duty on the part of the Owner to exercise this right for the benefit of the Prime Contractor or any other person or entity. The rights of the Owner under this Paragraph 2.3 shall be in addition to, and not in restriction of, the Owner’s rights under Paragraph 12.2.
OWNER’S RIGHT TO STOP THE WORK. In the event the CM/GC fails or refuses to perform the Work as required or fails or refuses to correct nonconforming Work, the Owner may instruct the CM/GC to stop Work in whole or in part. Upon receipt of such instruction, the CM/GC shall immediately stop as instructed by the Owner and shall not proceed further until the cause for the Owner's instructions has been corrected, no longer exists or the Owner instructs that the Work may resume. In the event the Owner issues such instructions to stop, and in the further event that the CM/GC fails and refuses within seven (7) days of receipt of same to provide adequate assurance to the Owner that the cause of such instructions will be eliminated or corrected, then the Owner shall have the right, but not the obligation, and without prejudice to other rights or remedies the Owner may have, to carry out the Work with its own forces or with the forces of another contractor, and the CM/GC shall be fully responsible and liable for the costs of performing such Work by the Owner. Without limiting what else might constitute nonconforming Work, the existence of a gross safety violation or other situation or condition that creates, or could imminently create, a threat of serious harm to persons or property, shall constitute nonconforming Work and any order to stop the Work issued for such reason shall not be considered an interference with the CM/GC’s performance of the Work or its means and methods. The rights set forth herein are in addition to, and without prejudice to, any other rights or remedies the Owner may have against the CM/GC.
OWNER’S RIGHT TO STOP THE WORK. 15.01 If Construction Manager fails to correct defective work or persistently fails to supply materials or equipment in compliance with the Contract Documents, Owner may direct Construction Manager to stop the Work, or any portion thereof, until the cause of such failure has been eliminated.

OWNER’S RIGHT TO STOP THE WORK. ‌ If Contractor fails to correct defective Work or fails to carry out the Work or to supply labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with the Contract Documents, Owner may order Contractor to stop the Work, or any portion thereof, until the cause for such order has been eliminated; however, this right of Owner to stop the Work shall not give rise to any duty on the part of Owner to exercise this right for the benefit of Contractor or any other person or entity. If Owner elects to order Contractor to stop the Work, Contractor shall be responsible for whatever measures are necessary to maintain the Key Completion Times once the cause for such order has been eliminated and for all costs and expenses associated therewith.
OWNER’S RIGHT TO STOP THE WORK. 2.3.1 If the Contractor fails to correct Work which is not in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents as required by Paragraph 12.2 or persistently fails to carry out Work in accordance with the Contract Documents or fails or refuses to provide a sufficient amount of properly supervised and coordinated labor, materials, or equipment so as to be able to complete the Work with the 35 Contract Time or disregards the instructions of the Owner or Architect, when based upon the requirements of the Contract Documents, the Owner may issue a written order to the Contractor to stop the Work, or any portion thereof, until the cause for such order has been eliminated; however, the right of the Owner to stop the Work shall not give rise to a duty on the part of the Owner to exercise this right for the benefit of the Contractor or any other person or entity. , except to the extent required by Subparagraph 6.1.3.
OWNER’S RIGHT TO STOP THE WORK. If the Contractor fails to correct defective or nonconforming Work as and when required under this Agreement (including, without limitation, pursuant to Section 2.6.9), or fails to carry out the Work in accordance with this Agreement, or fails or refuses to provide a sufficient amount of properly supervised and coordinated labor, materials or equipment so as to be able to complete the Work within the Schedule, and (except in cases of emergency) such failure or refusal continues for seven (7) days after receipt of written notice from the Owner, the Owner may, by a written directive, order the Contractor to stop the Work, or any portion thereof, until the cause for such order has been eliminated; provided, however, that the Owner will permit the cause of such stop-work order to be corrected by the Contractor. However, the right of the Owner to stop the Work shall neither give rise to a duty on the part of the Owner to exercise this right for the benefit of the Contractor or any other person or entity, nor relieve the Contractor of any of its responsibilities and obligations under or pursuant to this Agreement. In confirmation and furtherance of the foregoing, the Contractor shall not have any claim for an increase in the Guaranteed Maximum Price or a change in the Schedule due to stoppage in the Work as provided in this Section. Nothing in this Section shall limit or diminish the Owner's rights under Section 2.6.9.
