Person in Housing Need definition

Person in Housing Need means a person or household whose housing needs are not met by the market and is unable to resolve his or her or their housing needs in the local housing market as a result of the relationship between his or her or household income level and the rents or prices of such housing
Person in Housing Need shall be construed accordingly; “Protected Tenant” means any tenant who has: (a) exercised the right to acquire pursuant to the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 Act or any statutory provision for the time being in force (or any equivalent contractual right) in respect of a particular Affordable Rented Dwelling; or (b) exercised any statutory right to buy (or any equivalent contractual right) in respect of a particular Affordable Rented Dwelling; or (c) exercised a contractual right to acquire a one hundred percent (100%) interest in the lease of a Shared Ownership Dwelling and for the avoidance of any doubt the term “Protected Tenants” shall include successors in title to the tenant referred to above; “Regulator of Social Housing” means the public body set up to fund and regulate the provision of Affordable Housing (as defined in the NPPF) in England and any successor body;

  • Multi-family housing means a building or structure that is designed to house two (2) or more different households in separate housing Units which have full kitchen facilities including oven/range, refrigerator, kitchen sink with hot and cold water supply and food storage facilities and at least one (1) full bathroom facility(s), one (1) full bedroom and one (1) living area (including a combination thereof such as studio arrangements).

  • Elderly Housing means housing intended for and only occupied by Elderly persons including a family in which all members are Elderly. All household members must be Elderly (no children, and no disabled persons under the age of 62).

  • Affordable Housing Units – means the Affordable Housing to be provided as part of the development in accordance with the application and/or any subsequent reserved matters approval.

  • Family home or "family residence" means the location or portion of a location where the applicant and his or her family reside, and may include basements and attics. It does not include other structures that are separate from the home but are considered part of the overall premises, such as adjacent apartments, unattached basements in multi-unit buildings, unattached garages, and other unattached buildings.

  • Residential housing or "Residence" means a single-family, owner-occupied dwelling located within the State that qualifies for financing by the Authority within the meaning of the Act, the Rules and Regulations, the Code and related regulations.

  • Rental housing means development of a building or structure with four or more dwelling units all of which are intended for use as rented residential premises;

  • Supportive housing means housing with no limit on length of stay, that is occupied by the target population, and that is linked to an onsite or offsite service that assists the supportive housing resident in retaining the housing, improving his or her health status, and maximizing his or her ability to live and, when possible, work in the community.

  • Residential real estate means any real property located in this state, upon which is constructed or intended to be constructed a dwelling;

  • Affordable Housing Unit means a rental unit in an affordable housing building that rents for an amount that is affordable to households at or below 60 percent of area median income, as median income was most recently determined by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Minneapolis- St. Paul- Bloomington, Minnesota-Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area, as adjusted for household size and number of bedrooms.

  • Family farm corporation means a corporation founded for the purpose of farming agricultural land in which the majority of the voting stock is held by and the majority of the stockholders are persons or the spouse of persons related to each other within the fourth degree of kinship, according to the rules of the civil law, and at least one of the related persons is residing on or actively operating the farm, and none of whose stockholders are a corporation. A family farm corporation does not cease to qualify under this division where, by reason of any devise, bequest, or the operation of the laws of descent or distribution, the ownership of shares of voting stock is transferred to another person, as long as that person is within the degree of kinship stipulated in this division.

  • Primary Residence means an Insured’s fixed, permanent and main home for legal and tax purposes.

  • Foster family home means a private home in which children are placed for foster family care under supervision of the cabinet or a licensed child-placing agency;

  • Boathouse (NR 115.03(1h)) means a permanent structure used for the storage of watercraft and associated materials and includes all structures which are totally enclosed, have roofs or walls or any combination of these structural parts.

  • Mobile home lot means a portion of a mobile home park or manufactured housing community designated as the location of one mobile home, manufactured home, or park model and its accessory buildings, and intended for the exclusive use as a primary residence by the occupants of that mobile home, manufactured home, or park model;

  • Family or household members means spouses, domestic partners, former spouses, former domestic partners, persons who have a child in common regardless of whether they have been married or have lived together at any time, adult persons related by blood or marriage, adult persons who are presently residing together or who have resided together in the past, persons sixteen years of age or older who are presently residing together or who have resided together in the past and who have or have had a dating relationship, persons sixteen years of age or older with whom a person sixteen years of age or older has or has had a dating relationship, and persons who have a biological or legal parent-child relationship, including stepparents and stepchildren and grandparents and grandchildren.
