PM Shift definition

PM Shift means a scheduled shift in which five eighths (5/8) of the shift occurs between 4:30 PM and 12:00 AM. Employees who work a PM shift, and only a PM shift, shall be paid a differential of eleven percent (11%) calculated on their base pay.
PM Shift means a scheduled shift in which a majority of the shift occurs between 3:00 PM and 12:00 AM.
PM Shift as used herein shall mean a shift of work that starts no earlier than 1200L and no later than 1759L

Examples of PM Shift in a sentence

  • PM Shift: A nurse shall receive PM shift differential pay if one-half or more of their work period is after 4:00 p.m. PM shift differential shall be 5% of the employee’s hourly rate.

  • P.M. Shift - Any work period encompassing at least 5 hours of work between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight.

  • A shift premium of forty-five cents ($0.45) per hour will be paid for each scheduled hour worked before 6:00 A.M. or after 3:00 P.M. Shift premium shall not be paid if the employee’s hours of work before 6:00 A.M. or after 3:00 P.M. are overtime.

  • When a full-time employee’s regular schedule requires them to work after 8:00 P.M., he/she will be paid a shift differential of 45 cents ($0.45) per hour for all hours worked on each day where the work day extends beyond 8 P.M. Shift differential will not be paid for paid time off such as vacation, holidays, personal business, sick and emergency.

  • All other employees covered by this collective bargaining agreement shall be paid a P.M. Shift Differential of ten cents ($0.10) per hour for all hours worked on the P.M. shift and a Night Shift Differential of ten cents ($0.10) per hour for all hours worked on the Night shift.

  • Booking takes place intermittently but is heaviest on the P.M. Shift.

More Definitions of PM Shift

PM Shift. An employee scheduled for a PM shift shall be excused for the entire shift if Jury Duty on that day is for three (3) or more hours. If Jury Duty is for less than three (3) hours, the employee will qualify for Jury Duty pay by working a shift that day that includes the time spent on Jury Duty. Night Shift: An employee called for Jury Duty on the same day in which they are scheduled to conclude working a Night Shift shall be excused for the entire shift. If the Jury Duty on that day is for three (3) hours or more, the employee shall also be excused for the entire shift commencing the same night. If the Jury Duty on that day is for less than three (3) hours, the employee shall work for the entire shift commencing that same night.
PM Shift means a shift that attracts payment of the PM shift allowance under clause 32.

  • Day Shift means a shift which commences at or after 6.00 am and before 10.00 am. "Afternoon shift" means a shift which commences at or after 10.00 am and before 4.00 pm.

  • Afternoon shift means any shift finishing after 6.00 p.m. and at or before midnight.

  • Night Shift means a shift which commences at or after 4.00 pm and before 6.00 am on the day following.

  • Committed Shipper means a Shipper that has contracted for transporting a Committed Volume or otherwise paying the applicable Shortfall Payment, pursuant to the terms of a TSA executed by the Shipper during the open commitment periods that commenced on October 3, 2011, January 4, 2012, and December 21, 2018.

  • Observation Shift Days means the number of London Banking Days specified in the relevant Final Terms; and

  • CAISO Approved Meter means any revenue quality, electric energy measurement meter furnished by Seller, that (a) is designed, manufactured and installed in accordance with the CAISO’s metering requirements, or, to the extent that the CAISO’s metering requirements do not apply, Prudent Electrical Practices, and (b) includes all of the associated metering transformers and related appurtenances that are required in order to measure the net electric energy output from the Generating Facility.

  • Peak Hours or “Peak Period” means the period with the highest ridership during the entire transit service day as determined by the transit operator. Must include at least one hour during the morning commute hours and one during evening commute hours, Monday through Friday. Each Peak Period cannot be longer than three hours.

  • Work Day means any day that an Employee is regularly scheduled to work and for which the Employee receives payment from the Employer.

  • Network Operator means the provider of the Network.

  • Support Hours means between 8:30am and 5pm during Monday to Friday excluding standard UK Bank Holidays.

  • Contract Start Date means the date specified in your Contract for Signature as the date this Contract starts;

  • ro-ro passenger ship means a passenger ship with ro-ro spaces or special category spaces as defined in regulation II-2/3.
