PM Shift. An employee shall receive PM shift differential pay if one-half or more of their work period is after 4:00 p.m. PM shift differential pay shall be 7.5% of the employee’s hourly rate.
PM Shift. A P.M. Shift is a shift beginning at or after 1:00 p.m. and before 9:00
PM Shift. A P.M. Shift is a shift beginning at or after 1:00 p.m. and before 9:00 p.m. P.M. shift differential will be paid on a shift beginning at or after 1:00 p.m. for hours worked (other than call-back hours) between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., except that when a shift of eight (8) hours or more begins at or after 1:00 p.m. and before 3:00 p.m., P.M. shift differential will be paid from the beginning of the shift. The P.M. differential will be as follows: All Rad Techs/Clin. Lab Scientists = $2.00/hr Lab Asst = $0.75/hr All Others = $0.65/hr 2. Night Shift. A Night Shift is a shift beginning at or after 9:00 p.m. and before 4:00 a.m. Night shift premium will be paid only for hours worked (other than call-back hours) between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., provided the shift begins prior to 4:00 a.m. A shift beginning at or after 4:00 a.m. will be considered a day shift for all purposes under this Agreement. The Night Shift premium will be as follows: All Rad Techs/Clin. Lab Scientists = $4.00/hr Lab Asst = $1.50/hr All Others = $1.15/hr Section H On Call and Call-back 1. Employees assigned to standby status in accordance with their departmental policy will be paid at the rate of eight dollars ($8.00) for each hour of such on call time.

  • Hour Shift A ten (10) hour tour shall be inclusive of an unpaid thirty-seven and one half (37.5) minute meal period and two fifteen (15) minute paid relief periods.

  • Day Shift The standard work day will consist of eight (8) hours worked between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with a designated thirty (30) minute lunch period. Starting and stopping times to be determined by mutual agreement between the Company and the shop employees.

  • Work Shift The hours an employee is scheduled to work each workday in a workweek.

  • Afternoon Shift (i) Afternoon Shift is any shift where the normal ceasing time is later than 6.00 p.m. but not later than midnight. (ii) The additional loading for ordinary hours only shall be twenty-five percent (25%) of the all purpose rate applying to the Employees' classification.

  • Hour Shifts When the Employer deems it necessary to implement a twelve (12) hour work day, affected employees shall be notified pursuant to Clause 14.05. The following Clauses shall be replaced or added to the Collective Agreement where appropriate.

  • Work Shifts Employees shall be scheduled to work on regular work shifts having regular starting and quitting times. Except for emergencies (see Section D), employees' work schedules shall not be changed without written notice to the employee at least five (5) working days prior to the date the change is to be effective. Irregular work schedules shall not be changed without written notice to the employee at least ten

  • Night Shift Employees who are required to work at least five-eighths of their normal daily tour of duty after 4:30 p.m. and before 8:00 a.m. shall be paid at the rate of five percent over and above his/her normal biweekly or hourly rate of pay for the entire shift so worked.

  • Shift A full-time shift shall normally consist of a nine (9) consecutive hour time period, determined by the University, of which one hour shall be used for a lunch period without compensation. A one-half hour lunch period may be substituted for the one hour lunch period with prior approval of the supervisor. With the approval of their supervisor and the Human Resources Office, schedules of less than forty (40) hours per week or a shift change may be elected by staff members.

  • Shiftwork 28.1 In this clause Shiftwork means work comprising recurring periods in which different groups of workers do the same jobs in rotation. 28.2 Shiftworker for the purposes of this clause is defined as an Employee who is required by the Employer to work Shiftwork, which commences or finishes outside 6.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.

  • Shift Rotation Routine shift rotation is not an approach to staffing endorsed by the Employer. Except for emergency situations where it may be necessary to provide safe patient care, shift rotation will not be utilized without mutual consent. If such an occasion should ever occur, volunteers will be sought first. If no one volunteers, the Employer will rotate shifts on an inverse seniority basis until the staff vacancies are filled.
