Probationary Basis definition

Probationary Basis means the Provider has been awarded the Contract for the Probationary Period in order for further information to be gathered and the performance of the Provider to be monitored to establish it meets the National Standard criteria. This may be, for example, where the Setting has not received their first Care Inspectorate inspection following their Registration. Probationary Basis for grade eight students means doing board-approved summer work in the subject failed. Students who need to do summer work will not participate in the graduation ceremony.
