Provisional Period. A permanent employee who is appointed, placed, recalled, bumps or accepts a transfer to another permanent position within the bargaining unit shall be appointed provisionally for three (3) months, during which time performance will be appraised. Such appraisals will be discussed with the employee. An employee who successfully completes the provisional period shall be declared permanent in the position.
Provisional Period. A permanent employee who is transferred shall be appointed provisionally for three months, during which time performance will be appraised. Such appraisals will be discussed with the employee in the presence of a Xxxxxxx, if the employee so chooses. An employee who successfully completes the provisional period shall be declared permanent in the position and will forego any other options outlined in Article 17. At the discretion of the Human Resources Department, the provisional period may be extended by the cumulative length of any period(s) of absence from work for more than five consecutive days. In the event this happens, the employee will be notified in writing at least two (2) weeks prior to the extension. Notwithstanding the above, the provisional period may also be extended by a period of up to three months if mutually agreed to in writing by both parties to this Agreement. At the end of the provisional period, if the employee has not performed satisfactorily, the employee shall be provided the balance of their options under Article 17.
Provisional Period. The employment of bargaining unit teaching staff employees in their first year of employment at EPIC Academy shall be provisional. Epic Academy can extend this provisional period for an additional year for first year teachers at Epic Academy if it deems appropriate with documented reasons. All other Bargaining unit members shall have a provisional period of 30 calendar days. Any bargaining unit members may be released from employment during the provisional period without cause and at the sole discretion of EPIC Academy. EPIC Academy will provide written notice to the provisional employees whose employment EPIC Academy has decided not to renew for the following school year by May 20 each year, copying the Union. In the event EPIC Academy determines that it is appropriate to extend an employee’s provisional period for an additional year, it will provide the employee and Union the written basis for the decision by May 20.
Provisional Period. Students enrolled at CMMS for the first time will be given a four-week provisional period. CMMS may disenroll the student from the school program if the student is not adjusting to the class in an age-appropriate manner and/or CMMS is unable to meet the student’s needs. A meeting with the Administration, student’s teacher and parents/guardian will be held to discuss any concerns, and every attempt will be made to resolve any issues before any final action is taken.
Provisional Period. It is the time when THE CONTRACTOR will operate and maintain, if applicable, the TRANSPORT NETWORK for the exclusive use of the AWARDED PROJECT and to allow the operation of the ACCESS NETWORK. It will have a maximum duration of eighteen (18) months, which start from the day after the end of the INVESTMENT PERIOD OF THE TRANSPORT NETWORK and culminates with the subscription of the MINUTES OF AWARD OF THE TRANSPORT NETWORK ASSETS. In the event that the PROVISIONAL PERIOD ends on a date before the maximum term defined above, the total amount of the subsidy must be adjusted proportionally to the shortest term, according to the procedure described in this FINANCING CONTRACT. No subsidy will be recognized or granted in case the PROVISIONAL PERIOD ends on a later date than the maximum term defined.
Provisional Period. 42.1 The initial ninety (90) calendar days of employment shall be the provisional period for all new employees. The regularly scheduled supervision time during this period shall be used for the purposes of orientation, training, and review of the employee's job performance. The UAW Counselors who work with the new employee will be given an opportunity at around the employee’s sixty (60) day xxxx to provide feedback on employee’s strengths and weaknesses.
42.2 Provisional employees shall begin acquiring seniority effective their date of hire. They shall be entitled to use their accrued sick leave and worked holiday time during this period. At the successful completion of this ninety (90) day period, vacation benefits will begin accruing and will be awarded retroactively to date of hire. Employees may request that their supervisor schedule or assign them their accrued unworked holiday leave during this period, if staff coverage in the residence permits. Employees may utilize any worked holiday time accrued during the provisional period.
42.3 An orientation program will be provided by the Agency and attendance shall be required for all new employees. Orientation will be provided by the Agency before or during the employee's first three months of employment.
42.4 Employees dismissed during the provisional period shall receive a written statement detailing the reasons for their termination. If a provisional employee's work performance is evaluated to be unsatisfactory and they fail to bring their performance up to the standards and requirements of the Agency during the provisional period, the employee may be dismissed without either a 30 day probationary period or two (2) week notice of dismissal being granted.
Provisional Period. Section 1 - New Hire and Rehire
A. Each new and rehired RN (except the occasional RN) is employed for an initial provisional period of one hundred-eighty (180) calendar days. Upon completion, all disciplinary action including termination must be for just cause only.
B. An RN will have no seniority rights during her/his initial provisional period. Upon satisfactory completion, the RN's seniority date will be established as defined in Article 35.
C. The provisional period may be extended up to an additional sixty (60) days for just cause. During the extended provisional period all disciplinary action and/or dismissal will be for just cause only.
D. The provisional RN will have her/his benefits started based on the individual benefit and according to Article 23. There will be no loss of benefits as a result of the RN's initial provisional period and/or extended provisional period.
E. The provisional RN will be given written notice of unsatisfactory performance or failure to adhere to the Hospital rules. This notice will include a warning that future poor performance or misconduct during the initial provisional period will result in termination.

Children’s Manor may disenroll the student from the school program if the student is not adjusting to the class in an age-appropriate manner and/or CMMS is unable to meet the student’s needs. A meeting with the Administration, student’s teacher and parents/guardian will be held to discuss any concerns, and every attempt will be made to resolve any issues before any final action is taken.
Provisional Period. A. Within the first three months as a Training & Simulation Specialist, Senior, the Company will determine if the employee is able to develop the skills needed to perform as a Training & Simulation Specialist, Senior. If the employee is not able to develop the skills needed to perform as a Training & Simulation Specialist, Senior, the Company has discretion to release the employee back to his/her previous classification/headquarters. At any time during this three-month period, an employee may choose to return to their previous classification/headquarters.
B. If, after the first three months as a Training & Simulation Specialist, Senior, the Company is unable to determine whether an employee will be able to develop the skills necessary to perform as a Training & Simulation Specialist, Senior, upon notification of the Union and the employee, the Company will have an additional three months to assess whether an employee can acquire the skills needed to perform as a Training & Simulation Specialist, Senior.
C. If at any time during this three-month extension the Company determines such employee is unable to develop the skills needed to perform as a Training & Simulation Specialist, Senior, the Company has the discretion to release the employee back to his/her previous classification/headquarters. An employee who has received this notification may at any time during this additional three-month period choose to return to their previous classification/headquarters.

After three months as a Lead Contractor Inspector-GC, the Company will determine if a Lead Contract Inspector-GC is able to develop the skills or aptitude (i.e., SAP, interpersonal, communications, job coordination) needed to perform as an inspector. If a Lead Contract Inspector-GC is not able to develop the skills or aptitude needed to perform as an inspector, the Company has discretion to release the employee back to his/her previous classification. At any time during this three-month period, an employee may choose to return to his previous classification. • If, after the first three months of employment as a Lead Contractor Inspector-GC, the Company is unable to determine whether an employee will be able to develop the skills or aptitude (i.e., SAP, interpersonal, communications, job coordination) necessary to perform as a Lead Contractor Inspector-GC, upon notification of the Union and the employee, the Company will have an additional three months to assess whether an employee can acquire the skills or aptitude needed to perform as a Lead Contractor Inspector-GC. • If at any time during this three-month extension the Company determines such employee is unable to develop the skills or aptitude needed to perform as a Lead Contractor Inspector-GC, the Company has the discretion to release the employee back to his/her previous classification. An employee who has received this notification may at any time during this additional three-month period choose to return to his previous classification.
