Push Download definition

Push Download means the transmission and storage of a digital file containing audio-visual content from a remote source to a customer’s device at a time specified by the service provider and not in response to the request of a customer, which file is accessible and viewable by the customer solely during the license period for such content and solely upon completion of such customer’s purchase or selection thereof.
Push Download means the recording of a file embodying an Included Program to a Subscriber’s Target Device at a time specified by Licensee and not in response to the request of such Subscriber, where such file, with respect to such Included Program, is susceptible of exhibition by such Subscriber at a time specified by such Subscriber solely during its License Period. Push Download shall not preclude DVR Functionality. Except as otherwise allowed under Section 9.2.3 of Attachment D, an Included Program that is Push Downloaded to a Set-Top Box shall not be visible to the Subscriber at any time prior to the commencement, or after the expiration, of such Included Program’s License Period.
Push Download means the recording of a file embodying a Licensed Picture to the Subscriber-accessible partition of such Subscriber’s DISH STB DVR at a time specified by DISH and not in response to the request of such Subscriber, where such file, with respect to such Licensed Picture, is susceptible of exhibition by such Subscriber at a time specified by such Subscriber solely during its DISH License Period upon completion of a Subscriber Transaction in respect thereof. “Push Download” shall not include the transmission of a Licensed Picture to an Approved Device earlier than two days prior to its DISH License Period or later than 24 hours prior to the end of its DISH License Period.

  • Switch means a switching device employed by a Carrier within the Public Switched Network. Switch includes but is not limited to End Office Switches, Tandem Switches, Access Tandem Switches, Remote Switching Modules, and Packet Switches. Switches may be employed as a combination of End Office/Tandem Switches. "Switched Access Service" means the offering of transmission and switching services to Interexchange Carriers for the purpose of the origination or termination of telephone toll service. Switched Access Services include: Feature Group A, Feature Group B, Feature Group D, 8XX access, and 900 access and their successors or similar Switched Access Services. "Switched Access Traffic" is traffic that originates at one of the Party's End User Customers and terminates at an IXC Point of Presence, or originates at an IXC Point of Presence and terminates at one of the Party's End User Customers, whether or not the traffic transits the other Party's network.

  • Video programming means programming provided by, or generally considered comparable to programming provided by, a television broadcast station.

  • Network Data Mover (NDM) or “Connect Direct” means the industry standard protocol for transferring information electrically.

  • Streaming means the transmission of a digital file containing audio-visual content from a remote source for viewing concurrently with its transmission, which file may not be stored or retained (except for temporary caching or buffering) for viewing at a later time.

  • Online means transactions through electronic data-interchange whether real time transactions or otherwise, which may be through the internet, intranet networks and the like.

  • Users mean individuals who are authorized by Customer to use the Subscription Service, subject to the terms of this Agreement, and have been supplied user identifications and passwords by Customer. Users may include, for example, Customer’s and its Affiliates’ employees, consultants, clients, external users, contractors, agents and authorized third parties.
