Target Device definition

Target Device means an IP-enabled device that (i) supports the Approved IP Format, (ii) satisfies the content protection requirements set forth in Schedules B and C and (iii) receives Included Programs solely by the Approved IP Delivery applicable to Target Devices. The parties acknowledge and agree that Portable Devices, including, without limitation, mobile phones, shall not be “Target Devices”.
Target Device means any Set-Top Box, PC or PC Tuner that receives any Included Program directly from the Licensed Service. For the avoidance of doubt, a “Target Device” does not include an Extender.
Target Device means an IP-enabled hardware device of a Customer, including a desktop or laptop personal computer, that supports an Approved Format, including, without limitation, the DRM encompassed within the Approved Format (e.g., with respect to Microsoft Windows Media DRM Series 10, the device meets Microsoft’s Compliance Rules and Robustness Rules) and which receives Included Programs from a Customer Transaction on the Service solely by an Approved Transmission Means applicable to Target Devices; provided, however, that (i) only hardware devices that are Widevine Devices shall be Target Devices for the Widevine Format of Approved Format; and (ii) TiVo Device shall constitute a Target Device hereunder solely to the extent each condition set forth in Schedule B-2 to this Agreement is met. As used herein, “TiVo Device” means a standalone (i.e., sold separately, not integrated, not combined with a set-top box issued by any other third party), TiVo-branded Series 2, Series 3 or Series 4 DVR box, provided that, “TiVo Device” as used herein expressly excludes any device that integrates TiVo DVR functionality with cable or satellite receiver functionality into a single device that is distributed by Comcast, DIRECTV, or any other cable or satellite operator.

  • CDD acknowledges that Amazon does not control whether an Target Device actually implements any output protection technology signaled by Amazon hereunder and agrees that Amazon shall not be responsible for any failure of any Target Device to do so.

More Definitions of Target Device

Target Device means the Mobile Device on which the Customer has downloaded or installed or intends to download or install one or more of the Spyware Apps offered by Respondents in order to review the data associated with that device.
Target Device means a single chip ISDB-T 1 Seg Tuner IC (as specified in Exhibit C) designed and developed by or for MaxLinear and manufactured by or for MaxLinear hereunder incorporating both the Licensed IP Core and the MaxLinear IP Core only.

Related to Target Device

  • Target Population means persons with low incomes who have one or more disabilities, including mental illness, HIV or AIDS, substance abuse, or other chronic health condition, or individuals eligible for services provided pursuant to the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act (Division 4.5 (commencing with Section 4500) of the Welfare and Institutions Code) and may include, among other populations, adults, emancipated minors, families with children, elderly persons, young adults aging out of the foster care system, individuals exiting from institutional settings, veterans, and homeless people.

  • Alcohol Screening Device (ASD) means a breath or saliva device, other than an Evidential Breath Testing Device (EBT), that is approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and placed on its Conforming Products List for such devices.

  • Defeat device means any element of design which senses temperature, vehicle speed, engine rotational speed, drive gear, manifold vacuum or any other parameter for the purpose of activating, modulating, delaying or deactivating the operation of any part of the emission control system that reduces the effectiveness of the emission control system under conditions which may reasonably be expected to be encountered in normal vehicle operation and use. Such an element of design shall not be considered a defeat device if:

  • Pathway means a transport mechanism by which chemicals of concern may reach a receptor(s) or the location(s) of a potential receptor.

  • Assistive technology device means any item, piece of equipment, or product system that is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capacities of a child with a disability.

  • Soft Target means a target that will suffer minimum damage and cause minimum damage to the subject vehicle in the event of a collision.

  • Second Target Distribution means $0.4375 per Unit per Quarter (or, with respect to the period commencing on the Closing Date and ending on September 30, 2005, it means the product of $0.4375 multiplied by a fraction of which the numerator is equal to the number of days in such period and of which the denominator is 92), subject to adjustment in accordance with Section 6.6 and Section 6.9.

  • Pivotal Clinical Trial means a Phase 3 Clinical Trial, or a Phase 2b Clinical Trial for which the applicable Regulatory Authority has determined that the data generated in such Phase 2b Clinical Trial would be sufficient, depending on its outcome, to support the Regulatory Approval for the applicable Licensed Product.

  • Third Target Distribution means $0.5250 per Unit per Quarter (or, with respect to the period commencing on the Closing Date and ending on September 30, 2005, it means the product of $0.5250 multiplied by a fraction of which the numerator is equal to the number of days in such period and of which the denominator is 92), subject to adjustment in accordance with Section 6.6 and Section 6.9.

  • TARGET Day means any day on which TARGET2 (or, if such payment system ceases to be operative, such other payment system, if any, determined by the Administrative Agent to be a suitable replacement) is open for the settlement of payments in Euro.

  • Assistive device means any item, piece of equipment, or product system which is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of an individual with a disability in the workplace or on the job. “Assistive device” does not mean any medical device, surgical device, or organ implanted or transplanted into or attached directly to an individual. “Assistive device” does not include any device for which a certificate of title is issued by the state department of transportation, but does include any item, piece of equipment, or product system otherwise meeting the definition of “assistive device” that is incorporated, attached, or included as a modification in or to such a device issued a certificate of title. “Business entity” means partnership, limited liability company, S corporation, estate, or trust, where

  • Control device means equipment (such as an incinerator or carbon adsorber) used to reduce, by destruction or removal, the amount of air contaminants in an air stream prior to discharge to the ambient air.

  • Target Date means the date specified as such in the Quote, subject to any variation of that date in accordance with clause 7.6.

  • Mobile Device means a computing device, typically smaller than a notebook, which runs a mobile operating system, such as iOS, Android, or Windows Phone. Mobile Devices include smart phones, most tablets, and other form factors.

  • Phase 4 Clinical Trial means a Clinical Trial of a Product conducted after Regulatory Approval of such Product has been obtained from an appropriate Regulatory Authority, which trial is (a) conducted voluntarily by a Party to enhance marketing or scientific knowledge of the Product, or (b) conducted due to a request or requirement of a Regulatory Authority.

  • First Target Distribution means $0.4025 per Unit per Quarter (or, with respect to the period commencing on the Closing Date and ending on September 30, 2005, it means the product of $0.4025 multiplied by a fraction of which the numerator is the number of days in such period, and of which the denominator is 92), subject to adjustment in accordance with Section 6.6 and Section 6.9.

  • Prosthetic device means a replacement, corrective, or supportive device, other than contact lenses and dental prosthesis, dispensed pursuant to a prescription, including repair or replacement parts for that device, worn on or in the body to do 1 or more of the following:

  • TARGET 2 means the Trans-European Automated Real-time Gross Settlement Express Transfer payment system which utilises a single shared platform and which was launched on 19 November 2007.

  • Healing arts screening means the testing of human beings using x-ray machines for the detection or evaluation of health indications when such tests are not specifically and individually ordered by a licensed practitioner of the healing arts legally authorized to prescribe such x-ray tests for the purpose of diagnosis or treatment.

  • Orthotic device means a custom-fitted or custom-fabricated medical device that is applied to a part of the human body to correct a deformity, improve function, or relieve symptoms of a disease.

  • in vitro diagnostic medical device means any medical device which is a reagent, reagent product, calibrator, control material, kit, instrument, apparatus, equipment, software or system, whether used alone or in combination, intended by the manufacturer to be used in vitro for the examination of specimens, including blood and tissue donations, derived from the human body, solely or principally for the purpose of providing information:

  • KPI Target means the acceptable performance level for a KPI as set out in relation to each KPI;

  • Phase I Clinical Trial means a human clinical trial that is intended to initially evaluate the safety and/or pharmacological effect of a Product in subjects or that would otherwise satisfy requirements of 21 C.F.R. 312.21(a), or its foreign equivalent.

  • Phase 2 Clinical Trial means a human clinical trial of a product in any country that would satisfy the requirements of 21 C.F.R. 312.21(b) and is intended to explore a variety of doses, dose response, and duration of effect, and to generate initial evidence of clinical safety and activity in a target patient population, or a similar clinical study prescribed by the relevant Regulatory Authorities in a country other than the United States.

  • Traffic control device means a flagger, sign, signal, marking, or other device used to regulate, warn or guide traffic, placed on, over, or adjacent to a street, highway, private road open to public travel, pedestrian facility, or shared-use path by authority of a public agency or official having jurisdiction, or, in the case of a private road open to public travel, by authority of the private owner or private official having jurisdiction.

  • Milestone Event has the meaning set forth in Section 1.11(a).
