Rent Abatement Period definition

Rent Abatement Period means the twelve (12) month period from the Commencement Date with respect to each Phase, as well as for the Expansion Premises, if any, from the Expansion Premises Commencement Date and shall include any period of time during which Tenant occupies the Temporary Premises.
Rent Abatement Period is defined in Section 5.2.

Examples of Rent Abatement Period in a sentence

  • Tenant acknowledges and agrees that during such Base Rent Abatement Period, such abatement of Base Rent for the Premises shall have no effect on the calculation of any future increases in Base Rent or Direct Expenses payable by Tenant pursuant to the terms of this Lease, which increases shall be calculated without regard to such Base Rent Abatement.

  • The Base Rent Abatement shall be personal to the original Tenant and shall only apply to the extent that the original Tenant (and not any assignee, or any sublessee or other transferee of the original Tenant’s interest in this Lease) is the Tenant under this Lease during the Base Rent Abatement Period.

  • For purposes of clarity, Tenant shall be responsible for all other Rent due pursuant to the terms of this Lease during the Base Rent Abatement Period.

  • Landlord may make such election on a month by month basis with respect to each of the months of the Base Rent Abatement Period.

  • If Tenant shall be in default under this Lease beyond any applicable notice and cure period provided in this Lease, then Tenant’s right to receive the Base Rent Abatement for the Base Rent Abatement Period shall automatically terminate as of the date of such default and Tenant shall immediately be obligated to begin paying Base Rent for the Premises in full.

  • Additionally, Tenant shall be obligated to pay all “Additional Rent” (as that term is defined in Section 4.1 of this Lease) during the Base Rent Abatement Period.

  • Provided that Tenant is not then in monetary default or material non-monetary under this Lease, then during the first two (2) full calendar month(s) of the Lease Term (the “Rent Abatement Period”), Tenant shall not be obligated to pay any Base Rent otherwise attributable to the Premises during such Rent Abatement Period (the “Rent Abatement”).

  • In the event that the Commencement Date occurs on a day other than the first day of a calendar month, then monthly Base Rent payable on or before the first day of the first month of the Base Rent Abatement Period shall be a prorated amount based on the actual number of days in such calendar month, based on a 360 day year, following the expiration of the Base Rent Abatement Period.

  • At any time during the Rent Abatement Period, upon notice to Tenant, Landlord shall have the right to purchase any Rent Abatement relating to the remaining Rent Abatement Period by paying to Tenant an amount equal to the Rent Abatement Purchase Price.

  • Additionally, Tenant shall be obligated to pay all "Additional Rent" (as that term is defined in Section 4.1 of this Lease) during the Base Rent Abatement Period.


More Definitions of Rent Abatement Period

Rent Abatement Period means the period commencing on the Commencement Date and ending on the day prior to the Rent Commencement Date. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, Landlord agrees not to demand or collect, and Tenant shall have no obligation to pay, monthly Base Rent or Additional Rent payable under Section 3.4 below for the Rent Abatement Period.
Rent Abatement Period means, as applicable to any tenant by virtue of [Applicable Law] or consensual agreement, the period for which such tenant is excused from the obligation to make current payments on account of rent or other amounts to which the landlord is entitled under a lease or oc- cupancy agreement.
Rent Abatement Period. Tenant shall have a seven (7) month Rent Abatement Period, commencing on the first day of the first calendar month of the Lease term, and terminating on the last day of the seventh month of the Lease term. During this seven month period, Tenant shall not be obligated to pay Basic Annual Rent, but shall pay Additional Rent.
Rent Abatement Period. Tenant shall pay no Yearly Fixed Rent for the first two (2) years of the lease term (August 1, 2002 through July 31, 2004) for 21,500 rentable square feet of space.
Rent Abatement Period means the period from the date of this Agreement until the commencement of regular payments of Rent with respect to Suites 200 and 220 of the Project (expected to be in the calendar months of December 2017 (the “Suite 200 Rent Abatement Period”) and April, 2018 (the “Suite 220 Rent Abatement Period”), respectively).

Related to Rent Abatement Period

  • Lease Period means each of the consecutive periods throughout the Basic Term and any Renewal Term ending on a Lease Period Date, the first such period commencing on and including the Delivery Date.

  • Rental Period means the calendar period during which Government property is made available for nongovernmental purposes.

  • Lease Year means each consecutive twelve-month period beginning with the Commencement Date, except that if the Commencement Date is not the first day of a calendar month, then the first Lease Year shall be the period from the Commencement Date through the final day of the twelve months after the first day of the following month, and each subsequent Lease Year shall be the twelve months following the prior Lease Year.

  • Base Rent Period Annual Rate Per Square Foot Monthly Base Rent

  • Lead abatement means any measure or set of measures designed to permanently eliminate

In addition, when a utility that is purchased from or through a local utility company by the Development, who in turn bills residents for actual consumption of the utility will also be eligible when the applicable utility allowance for the Development includes a deduction for the utility and the household’s lease specifies that the resident is responsible for the utility.

  • Annual Base Rent means the business’s annual lease payment minus taxes, insurance and operating or maintenance expenses.

  • assessment period means such period as is prescribed in sections 19 to 21 over which income falls to be calculated;

  • Monthly Base Rent The monthly rent specified in Section 1.01(8).

  • Lease Commencement Date means the Closing Date. The “Lease Expiration Date” shall mean the later of (i) the date of the final payment in full of the French Advances and (ii) the Vehicle Lease Expiration Date for the last Lease Vehicle leased by the Lessee hereunder. The “Term” of this Agreement shall mean the period commencing on the Lease Commencement Date and ending on the Lease Expiration Date.

  • Second Extension Period means the period of one (1) Contract Year commencing immediately after the end of the First Extension Period.
