Replacement Staff Member definition

Replacement Staff Member means a staff member:
Replacement Staff Member means a staff member engaged for the purpose of replacing a staff member on leave, acting or seconded to duties away from their usual area of employment and/or where an approved flexible work arrangement exists for a defined period not normally exceeding twelve (12) months.
Replacement Staff Member means a Staff Member: (i) undertaking work activity replacing a full-time or part-time Staff Member for a definable period during which the replaced Staff Member is either on authorised leave of absence or is temporarily seconded away from their usual work area; or (ii) performing the duties of: i. a vacant position that the University has made a definite decision to fill and has commenced recruitment action; or ii. a position that the normal occupant is performing higher duties pending the outcome of recruitment action initiated and/or in progress by the University for that vacant higher duties position; until a Staff Member is engaged for the vacant position or vacant higher duties position as applicable.

Replacement Staff Member means a Staff Member:

Replacement Staff Member means a Staff Member: (i) undertaking work activity replacing a full-time or part-time Staff Member for a definable period during which the replaced Staff Member is on authorised leave of absence, OSP or is temporarily seconded or appointed away from their usual work area or role; or (ii) performing the duties of: a) a vacant position that the University has made a definite decision to fill and has commenced recruitment action; or b) a position that is temporarily vacant because the normal occupant is performing higher duties pending the outcome of recruitment action initiated and/or in progress by the University for that vacant higher duties position; until a Staff Member is engaged for the vacant position or vacant higher duties position as applicable.

Related to Replacement Staff Member

  • Staff member means a staff member as defined in section 1(1) of the Public Service Act, 1995 (Act No. 13 of 1995);

  • crew member means a person assigned by an operator to duty on an aircraft during a flight duty period;

  • New member means a person first employed on or after Septem- ber 1, 2005, including a former member who withdrew retirement contributions under Government Code 822.003 and is reemployed on or after September 1, 2005.

  • Full Member means any person who is in one of the categories of membership referred to in Rule 10.3.
