Research Injury definition

Research Injury means physical injury caused by treatment or procedures required by the Protocol that the Study subject would not have received if the subject had not participated in the Study. Institution agrees to provide or arrange for prompt diagnosis and medical treatment of any Research Injury experienced by a Study subject. Institution further agrees to promptly notify Sponsor of any Research Injury within thirty (30) days of receiving notice of the Research Injury. 3

UNIVERSITY agrees to provide or arrange for prompt diagnosis and treatment of any Research Injury experienced by a Study participant as soon as UNIVERSITY becomes aware of the Research Injury.   • Research and development facility means an establishment engaged in laboratory, scientific, or experimental testing and development related to new products, new uses for existing products, or improving existing products. The term does not include an establishment engaged in efficiency surveys, management studies, consumer surveys, economic surveys, advertising, promotion, banking, or research in connection with literary, historical, or similar projects.

  • Collaboration Know-How means all Know-How conceived, discovered, developed or otherwise made by or on behalf of a particular Party or any of its Affiliates or permitted subcontractors of any of the foregoing (solely or jointly by or on behalf of a particular Party or any of its Affiliates or permitted subcontractors of any of the foregoing) in the course of [***].

  • Attack directed against any civilian population means a course of conduct involving the multiple commission of acts referred to in paragraph 1 against any civilian population, pursuant to or in furtherance of a State or organizational policy to commit such attack;
