Residential Treatment Center definition

Residential Treatment Center means a sub-acute facility or acute care facility which delivers twenty-four (24) hours/ seven (7) days a week assessment, diagnostic services and active behavioral health treatment to Insureds. The level of care and length of stay, in a facility with the appropriate licensure level, is authorized through the SHL Managed Care program.

Residential Treatment Center means “Residential treatment center for children and adolescents” as defined in Section 394.67, F.S.
Residential Treatment Center means a facility setting offering a defined course of therapeutic intervention and special programming in a controlled environment which also offers a degree of security, supervision, structure and is licensed by the appropriate state and local authority to provide such service. It does not include half-way houses, supervised living, group homes, boarding houses or other facilities that provide primarily a supportive environment and address long-term social needs, even if counseling is provided in such facilities.
