Route Work definition

Route Work is all work performed by the Employer other than in buildings where the Employer contracts directly with the building owner and/or agent. An employee will receive the Route rate for any Route Work unless: 1. The Route Work was contracted for after April 1, 1981, or the Route Work is awarded to a replacement contractor after April 1, 1981 and a contractor that is party to a collective bargaining agreement with the Union is performing services directly for the building owner and/or agent. 2. The Route Work was contracted for after April 1, 1981, or the Route Work is awarded to a replacement contractor after April 1, 1981, and the employees are maintaining tenant space in the building pursuant to a collective bargaining agreement directly with the building owner and/or agent. 3. The employees were formerly covered by a Local 32B collective bargaining agreement. If any of the above conditions are met the employees shall receive the Building rate.

Examples of Route Work in a sentence

  • Commercial Use means vehicles used for Farming or Ranching, Route Work, Job-Site Activities, Service or Repair Work and Delivery of Goods (see Section III.

  • For employees performing Route Work, the Employer shall have the option of substituting Good Friday and/or the Day after Thanksgiving for Xxxxxxx’s Birthday and/or Election Day, provided notice is given to the Union on or before February 1 of each year.

  • For employees performing Route Work, the Employer shall have the option of substituting Good Friday and/or the Day after Thanksgiving for Lincoln’s Birthday and/or Election Day, provided notice is given to the Union on or before February 1 of each year.

  • As to buildings where the building owner and/or agent is committed to the 2020 Commercial Building Agreement between the RAB and the Union or the 2020 Independent Office or Loft Agreement with the Union and agrees to be bound thereby, all the terms of this agreement shall apply, except that the provisions of this Article XII, paragraph 2, subsections (a) through (d) shall apply, however, these provisions shall not apply to Route Work.

  • For employees performing Route Work, Xxxxxxx’s Birthday and Election Day shall be holidays in place of Good Friday and the day after Thanksgiving.

  • For employees performing Route Work, Lincoln’s Birthday and Election Day shall be holidays in place of Good Friday and the day after Thanksgiving.

  • Route Work Travel Time All travel time between work locations shall be paid as time worked for employees who are required to move from location to location to location in the course of performing his/her work.

  • Subsequent Damages resulting from the Breakdown of a covered part are covered by this Contract, except when YOU have failed to perform the recommended maintenance services for YOUR Vehicle.Commercial Use – Means Vehicles Used for Farming or Ranching, Route Work (excluding Snow Removal), Job-Site Activities, Service or Repair Work and Delivery of Goods must not exceed manufacturer’s ratings and/or limitations.

  • VOT is the value attributed to a users’ time and is estimated based on the relationship to wage rates and delays related to the trip length of a detour route or alternative route(s) illustrated in Figure 5.5. Related to Route Work

  • piece-work means any system by which earnings are calculated upon the quantity or output of work performed;

  • job work means any treatment or process undertaken by a person on goods belonging to another registered person and the expression “job worker” shall be construed accordingly;

  • Development Work means any work carried out in relation to the physical construction of a mine;

  • Project Work means the work required to complete the Project.

  • Shift Work is defined as the same work performed by two or more employees or two or more successive sets or groups of employees working successive periods.

  • The Work means the work or works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Extra Work means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • a work means the outcome of building or civil engineering works taken as a whole which is sufficient in itself to fulfil an economic or technical function;

  • Contract Work means everything required to be furnished and done by the Contractor by any one or more of the parts of the Contract referred to in Article 1, except Extra Work as hereinafter defined.

  • Collective Work means a work, such as a periodical issue, anthology or encyclopedia, in which the Work in its entirety in unmodified form, along with a number of other contributions, constituting separate and independent works in themselves, are assembled into a collective whole. A work that constitutes a Collective Work will not be considered a Derivative Work (as defined below) for the purposes of this License.

  • Installation Work means the construction and installation of the System and the Start-up, testing and acceptance (but not the operation and maintenance) thereof; all performed by or for the Power Producer at the Premises.

  • Work means all Services to be performed, goods to be delivered, and any appurtenant actions performed, and items produced, conceived, or developed, including Deliverables.

  • audiovisual work means a work that consists of a series of related images which impart the impression of motion, with or without accompanying sounds, susceptible of being made visible and, where accompanied by sounds, susceptible of being made audible;

  • Work/ works means work / works to be executed in accordance with the contract.

  • tidal work means so much of any work authorised by this Order as is on, under or over tidal waters or tidal lands below the level of high water;

  • Electrical work Means any labor or material used in installing, altering, maintaining, or extending an electrical wiring system and the appurtenances, apparatus, or equipment used in connection with the use of electrical energy in, on, outside, or attached to a building, residence, structure, property, or premises. The term includes service entrance conductors as defined by the National Electrical Code.

  • Excavation work means the making of any man-made cavity, trench, pit or depression formed by cutting, digging or scooping;

  • Urgent Work means any urgent measures which in the opinion of Engineer-in-charge become necessary during the progress of the work to obviate any risk of accident or failure or disruption of generation which become necessary for security.

  • drainage work means any watercourse and includes any land which is expected to provide flood storage capacity for any watercourse and any bank, wall, embankment or other structure, or any appliance, constructed or used for land drainage or flood defence;

  • Development Site means any parcel or lot on which exists or which is intended for building development other than the following:

  • Project Deliverables means the Project deliverables set out in Schedule 2. Project Material means all the material including but not limited to documents, computer software, and data stored by any means which is created by the Fellow in the course of undertaking the Project.

  • Major Work means any Work to Construct or Maintain the Distribution System that costs more than One Hundred Thousand ($100,000.00) Dollars;

  • Defective Work means (a) Work that is unsatisfactory, deficient or damaged, does not conform to the Contract Documents, or does not meet the requirements of any inspection, test or approval, or (b) Work associated with punch list items that the Contractor fails to complete within a reasonable time after issuance of the punch list by the Project Manager.

  • Tenant Improvement Work means the construction of the Tenant Improvements, together with any related work (including demolition) that is necessary to construct the Tenant Improvements.

  • New Work means any Services/Deliverables outside the scope of the Contract and not specifically provided under any Statement of Work, that once added will result in the need to provide the Contractor with additional consideration.

  • Completion of work means completion of the entire contracted work. Exhaustion of quantity of any particular item mentioned in the bid document shall not imply completion of work or any component thereof.
