Safety sensitive employee definition

Safety sensitive employee means an individual employed by, contracted by, or a volunteer of, the RTA that:¶
Safety sensitive employee means those in positions which require a Commercial Driver’s License; law enforcement personnel who carry fire arms; correction employees; emergency responders; employees who work with vulnerable populations, and heavy equipment operators. Whether a specific position is “safety sensitive” will be determined on a case-by-case basis by the Human Resources Office in consultation with the individual Program.
Safety sensitive employee means an employee who operates heavy machinery and includes, but are not limited to, an operator of a crane, winch, or top loader and a driver of hustler or forklift.
