Senior Project definition

Senior Project means "housing for older persons" as defined in Section 807(b)(2) of the Fair Housing Act, 42 U.S.C. § 3607, as it may be amended. In order to be eligible for the Senior Cycle, the project must meet one of the three categories of exempt "housing for older persons" as defined by the Fair Housing Act:

Code, Section 51.3 and the federal Fair Housing Act and further be subject to state and federal fair housing laws with respect to senior housing. Special Needs or Special Needs Populations - means agricultural workers, individuals living with physical or sensory disabilities and transitioning from hospitals, nursing homes, development centers, or other care facilities; individuals living with developmental disabilities, serious mental illness or substance abuse disorders; individuals who are survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking; individuals who are experiencing Homelessness; individuals with HIV; homeless youth as defined in Government Code (GC) Section 12957(e)(2); families in the child welfare system for March 2020 6 whom the absence of housing is a barrier to family reunification, as certified by a county; frequent users of public health or mental health services, as identified by a public health or mental health agency; Frail Elderly Persons; or other specific groups with unique housing needs as determined by the Department. “Special Needs Populations” do not include seniors unless they otherwise qualify as a Special Needs Population.

Examples of Senior Project in a sentence

  • Pursuant to Section 4.1.4 of the Construction Project Administration Manual (CPAM), the authority of the Consultant’s lead person, such as the Senior Project Engineer, and the Consultant’s Project Administrator shall be identical to the Department’s Resident Engineer and Project Administrator respectively and shall be interpreted as such.

Related to Senior Project

  • Major project means a project comprising of a series of works, activities or services which is intended, in itself, to accomplish a definite and indivisible task of a precise economic or technical nature, which has clearly identified goals and whose total cost exceeds that which is specified in the Framework Agreement;

  • Sub-project means a specific development project to be carried out by a Beneficiary utilizing the proceeds of a Sub-loan;

  • Solar PV Project means the solar Photo Voltaic Power project that uses sunlight for direct conversion into electricity through Photo Voltaic technology.

  • Project means the goods or Services described in the Signature Document or a Work Order of this Contract.

This includes all units and auxiliaries such as water supply, treatment or storage facilities; bay/s for transmission system in the switchyard, dedicated transmission line up to the Delivery Point and all the other assets, buildings/structures, equipment, plant and machinery, facilities and related assets required for the efficient and economic operation of the power generation facility; whether completed or at any stage of development and construction or intended to be developed and constructed for the purpose of supply of power as per this Agreement;

  • Generating Facilities means Interconnection Customer’s device for the production and/or storage for later injection of electricity identified in the Interconnection Request, but shall not include the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities.

  • Project Financing means: (a) one or more loans, leases, equity and/or debt financings, together with all modifications, renewals, supplements, substitutions and replacements thereof, the proceeds of which are used to finance or refinance the costs of the Customer Facility, any alteration, expansion or improvement to the Customer Facility, the purchase and sale of the Customer Facility or the operation of the Customer Facility; (b) a power purchase agreement pursuant to which Interconnection Customer’s obligations are secured by a mortgage or other lien on the Customer Facility; or (c) loans and/or debt issues secured by the Customer Facility.

  • Elevated Building means a non-basement building which has its lowest elevated floor raised above ground level by foundation walls, shear walls, posts, piers, pilings, or columns.

  • Project Site(s) means the place(s) specified in the SCC for the supply and installation of the System.

  • Expansion Project has the meaning set forth in Section IV.3.a of this Agreement.

  • School facilities project means the planning, acquisition, demolition, construction, improvement, alteration, modernization, renovation, reconstruction or capital maintenance of all or any part of a school facility or of any other personal property necessary for, or ancillary to, any school facility, and shall include fixtures, furnishings and equipment, and shall also include, but is not limited to, site acquisition, site development, the services of design professionals, such as engineers and architects, construction management, legal services, financing costs and administrative costs and expenses incurred in connection with the project;

  • Project Land means any parcel or parcels of land on which the project is developed and constructed by a promoter;

  • Public building means any structure, including exte- rior parts of the building, such as a porch, exterior platform or steps providing means of ingress or egress, used in whole or in part as a place of resort, assemblage, lodging, trade, traffic, occupancy, or use by the public or by 3 or more tenants.

  • Infrastructure project means any activity related to the construction, alteration, maintenance, or repair of infrastructure in the United States regardless of whether infrastructure is the primary purpose of the project. See also paragraphs (c) and (d) of 2 CFR 184.4.

  • Infrastructure facility means a building; structure; or networks of buildings, structures, pipes, controls, and equipment, or portion thereof, that provide transportation, utilities, public education, or public safety services. Included are government office buildings; public schools; courthouses; jails; prisons; water treatment plants, distribution systems, and pumping stations; wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, and pumping stations; solid waste disposal plants, incinerators, landfills, and related facilities; public roads and streets; highways; public parking facilities; public transportation systems, terminals, and rolling stock; rail, air, and water port structures, terminals, and equipment.

  • Idle facilities means completely unused facilities that are excess to the governmental unit's current needs.

  • The Project Site, where applicable, means the place or places named in the SCC.

  • Generating Facility means Developer’s device for the production of electricity identified in the Interconnection Request, but shall not include the Developer’s Attachment Facilities.

  • Stormwater management facility means a control measure that controls stormwater runoff and changes the characteristics of that runoff including, but not limited to, the quantity and quality, the period of release or the velocity of flow.
