SEVERANCE CLAUSE. If any term of these Terms and Conditions or the Purchase Order is invalid or unenforceable under any statute, regulation, ordinance, executive Purchase Order, or other rule of law, that term will be mutually replaced by the parties to the extent necessary to comply with such statute, regulation, ordinance, Purchase Order or rule, and the remaining provisions of the Terms and Conditions and the Purchase Order will remain fully in effect.
SEVERANCE CLAUSE. If any term of this agreement is, in whole or in part, held to be illegal or unenforceable to any extent under any enactment or rule of law, that term or part shall to that extent be deemed not to form part of this agreement and the enforceability of the remainder of this agreement shall not be affected.
SEVERANCE CLAUSE. It is expressly agreed that if any term or provision of this Agreement, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, shall be held invalid or unenforceable to any extent, the remainder of this Agreement, or the application of such term or provision to persons or circumstances other than those to which it is held invalid or unenforceable, shall not be affected thereby; and every other term and provision of this Agreement shall be valid and shall be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law.
SEVERANCE CLAUSE. Should any provisions of this Agreement be found unlawful by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of the Agreement shall continue in force. Upon issuance of such a decision, the parties shall meet as soon as practical to attempt to renegotiate the invalidated provision(s).
SEVERANCE CLAUSE. Ineffective provisions of this agreement shall not affect the effective- ness of the other provisions. In the event of the ineffectiveness of one provision of this agreement, the par- ties to the agreement shall agree to replace it with an ef- fective one that in spirit and purpose comes closest to the ineffective provision. These Terms and Conditions shall only be applicable vis-à-vis consumers (in terms of the Consumer Protection Act) as far as mandatory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, Federal Law Gazette (BGBl), No. 140/1979 do not run contrary to them.
SEVERANCE CLAUSE. The invalidity or unenforceability of any part of this Agreement shall not invalidate or affect the remainder, which shall continue to govern the relative rights and duties of the parties as though the invalid or unenforceable part were not a part hereof.
SEVERANCE CLAUSE. If a clause of these General Conditions, or of the Tenancy Agreement, is deemed by any competent authority to be null and void, the other clauses of this General Conditions, or of the Tenancy Agreement, will continue to have effect.
SEVERANCE CLAUSE. Any provision in this Lease which is prohibited by Law will be treated as if it never were a part of this Lease, and the validity of the remaining terms of this Lease will be unaffected.
SEVERANCE CLAUSE. Teachers shall be entitled to a one-time separation benefit of $5,000.00, provided all of the following conditions are met:
SEVERANCE CLAUSE. If any part of this agreement becomes unenforceable or illegal, then the agreement will continue in force, but the offending provision(s) shall be severed from the agreement and will have no effect on the remaining services agreed to and associated performance.
