AND PURPOSE. The general purpose of this Agreement is to advance the mutual interests of the Company, the Union and the Owner-Operator, and to provide for the operations of the Company and methods which will to the fullest extent possible further the safety of Owner-Operators, economy of operation, quality and quantity of output, and to establish and maintain a satisfactory procedure to cover the settlement of differences arising out of this Contract, and to set forth payment rates and other Contract conditions. There shall be no effort by either signatory to misinterpret, read into, or delete fi-om any of the provisions of this Agreement. Therefore, this Agreement between the Union and the Company, signed by the accredited officials of both parties, has been mutually agreed upon and the terms, as laid out, shall be carried out in letter and spirit by both parties.

AND PURPOSE. The Corporation recognizes The National Automobile, Aerospace, Transportation and General Workers Union of Canada as the sole bargaining agent for the employees covered by this Agreement and agrees to negotiate with the Union on matters affecting the wages and working conditions of the said employees. The purpose of this agreement is to provide orderly collective bargaining procedures between the Corporation and the Union, to secure prompt and equitable disposition of grievances, to describe working conditions, hours of work and wages for the employees of the bargaining unit, and to prevent interruptions of work and interference with the efficient operation of the Corporation's business.
AND PURPOSE. Section 1. The Lake County Sheriff hereby recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all employees designated as full-time Deputized Deputies, Court Officers, and Court Officer Corporals. The Union, as a term of this agreement, has provided the Employer a notarized affidavit certifying compliance with the Ohio Revised Code Section 3517.13.
Section 2. The purpose of this Agreement is to establish all matters of wages, hours, terms and conditions of employment and to provide for orderly, harmonious and cooperative employee relations between the parties.
Section 3. The parties acknowledge that during the negotiations which resulted in this Agreement, each had the unlimited right and opportunity to make demands and proposals with respect to any subject or matter not removed by law from the area of collective bargaining, and that the understandings and agreements arrived at by the parties after the exercise of that right and opportunity are set forth in this Agreement. Therefore, the Employer and the Union, for the duration of this Agreement, each voluntarily and unqualifiedly waives the right, and each agrees that the other shall not be obligated to bargain collectively with respect to any subject or matter referred to, or covered in this Agreement, or with respect to any subject or matter not specifically referred to, or covered in this Agreement.

Section Intent and Purpose The intent and purpose of this Agreement shall be to promote and improve industrial and relations in the Industry, to establish and maintain discipline and efficiency and to set forth herein the basic Agreement covering rates of pay, hours of work and conditions of employment which will render justice to all. The parties hereto desire to co-operate in establishing and maintaining proper and suitable conditions in the Industry, to provide methods of fair and peacefuladjustments of all disputes which may arise between them, and to xxxxxx goodwill and friendly relations and better understanding between the parties. The Employer and the Union each represents that the purpose and the intent of this Agreement is to promote co-operations and harmony, to recognize mutual interests and to set forth herein the basic Agreement covering rates of pay, hours of work and conditions of employment. Both parties, furthermore, recognize that only through a strong competitive position in the marketplace, can continued operation of the plant remain a continued reality. In this Collective Agreement unless otherwise indicated by the the plural shall include the singular and the masculine, the feminine and vice versa.
