Short Codes definition

Short Codes means numbers with significantly fewer digits than customer numbers. They may be used as numbers in their own right or as prefixes to other numbers for some special purpose, normally call routing purposes.
Short Codes means a number that is not a supplementary code and has maximum of six (6) digits;
Short Codes means non-dialable numbers that are shorter than ordinary telephone numbers and which may be used, for example to access SMS- and MMS-based services, services like mobile banking, and information services like the weather forecast and news. Short codes may be “network specific” or “common” (i.e., used to access the same service from different networks).

Examples of Short Codes in a sentence

  • If at any time during the Term, anti-spam legislation applies to your use of the Common Short Code(s), you acknowledge and agree that you shall at all times remain compliant with all such legislation.

  • Except for claims described in Section 12.a, to the extent permitted by applicable law and unless otherwise agreed, all disputes and claims (pursuant to statute, regulation, contract or in tort or otherwise), present and future, pertaining to this Agreement or the Common Short Code(s) will be determined by final and binding arbitration by a single arbitrator under the Arbitration Act, 1991 (Ontario).

  • As the Common Short Code Holder, you are solely responsible for the use of the Common Short Code(s) including all messages originating from the Common Short Code(s).

  • Any services provided by any WSP or aggregator with respect to use of the Common Short Code(s) are governed by the arrangement or agreement between the Common Short Code Holder and such WSP or aggregator, and are not governed by this Agreement.

  • Your access to and use of the Common Short Code(s) constitutes your acceptance of all the terms of this Agreement.

  • If you will be providing anycustomer or end user information to CWTA or any aggregator or WSP, you must ensure that you have obtained the necessary consents for CWTA and/or such aggregator or WSP to collect, use and store the information of your customers and end users for the purposes of providing and using the Common Short Code(s).

  • For certainty, CWTA’s liability to you or any other person for damages for any reason whatsoever arising out of the lease of the Common Short Code(s) is limited by Section 11.

  • If payment is not received by CWTA or any payments are outstanding three (3) months or more after the date of the applicable invoice, CWTA may, in its sole discretion, suspend, deactivate or cancel your lease of the Common Short Code(s) without further notification to you, and may refuse to accept for review any further Common Short Code lease applications from you until such payment is made in full.

  • If your payments are in arrears, CWTA may bill you for, and you shall pay, administrative charges as set by CWTA from time to time for administrative or account activities including: collection efforts due to non-payment, returned or rejected payments, or suspension, cancellation or reactivation of your lease of the Common Short Code(s).

  • Please note that Short Codes beginning with a “4” and a “0” are not available as part of this initiative.

Short Codes means 5 and 6-digit Short Codes, the use of which will result in consumers sending and/or receiving an SMS or MMS message in order to experience an automated application.

  • Sort code means the 6-digit code that identifies a particular bank and bank branch in the Republic of Ireland;

  • Procurement Code means §§ 13-1-28 to 13-1-199 NMSA 1978. “Public School Finance Act” means §§ 22-8-1 to 22-8-49 NMSA 1978. “Secretary” means the cabinet secretary of the Department.

  • Access Codes means the username and password provided by the Company to the Client for accessing his Trading Account through the Company’s electronic systems.

  • Data Protection Regulation means Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 20161 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation);

  • telephone short code means a short telephone number used for the purposes of submitting a vote by text message;

  • Access Code means the Railways (Access) Code 2000;

  • Grid Code / “IEGC” or “State Grid Code” shall mean the Grid Code specified by the Central Commission under clause (h) of sub-section (1) of Section 79 of the Electricity Act and/or the State Grid Code as specified by the concerned State Commission referred under clause (h) of sub-section (1) of Section 86 of the Electricity Act, as applicable;

  • Privacy Act means the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

  • Mass Privacy Act means the Massachusetts Standards for the Protection of Personal Information, 201 CMR 17.00, et seq.

  • General Data Protection Regulation GDPR" means regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European parliament and of the council as amended from time to time.

  • the 1997 Regulations means the Zebra, Pelican and Puffin Pedestrian Crossing Regulations 1997.

  • General Regulations means the Charitable Incorporated Organisations (General) Regulations 2012.

  • Customer Proprietary Network Information (“CPNI”) is as defined in the Act.

  • HIPAA Regulations means the regulations promulgated under HIPAA by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, including, but not limited to, 45 C.F.R. Part 160 and 45 C.F.R. Part 164.

  • the 2000 Regulations means the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2000(b); "the 2001 Regulations" means the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2001(c);

  • Uniform Network Code means the uniform network code as defined in Standard Special Condition A11(6) of National Grid’s transporters licence, as such code may be amended from time to time in accordance with the terms thereof.

  • Agency Workers Regulations means the Agency Workers Regulations 2010;

  • Tableware means multi-use eating and drinking utensils.

  • Privacy Standards means the standards of the privacy of individually identifiable health information, as pursuant to HIPAA.

  • Codes means the following including the latest amendments and/or replacements, if any:

  • Malicious Code means viruses, worms, time bombs, Trojan horses and other harmful or malicious code, files, scripts, agents or programs.

  • CFTC Regulations means the rules and regulations promulgated by the CFTC, as amended.

  • Web Site Accessibility Standards/Specifications means standards contained in Title 1 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 206.

  • Electricity Act means the Electricity Act, 1998, S.O. 1998, c. 15, Schedule A;

  • EP Regulations means The Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations SI 2016 No.1154 and words and expressions used in this permit which are also used in the Regulations have the same meanings as in those Regulations.

  • Adaptable means constructed in compliance with the technical design standards of the Barrier Free Subcode, N.J.A.C. 5:23-7.
