Sick Leave Credits definition

Sick Leave Credits means the earned number of sick leave hours an employee is eligible to use upon completion of the qualifying period.
Sick Leave Credits means the amount of paid time at the regular rate of pay which an Employee earns to be used when an Employee takes time off from work due to an Employee's temporary inability to perform duties because of sickness or disability;

Examples of Sick Leave Credits in a sentence

  • Section 1: Sick Leave Credits are earned at the rate of 4 working days (24 hours) for each year of service without restriction as to the number of working days that may be accumulated.

  • Sick Leave Credits Employees covered by this MOU will be entitled to earn a maximum of twelve (12) days [ninety-six (96) hours] of sick leave per year as provided under the current Personnel Ordinance.

Related to Sick Leave Credits

  • Sick Leave means the period of time an employee is absent from work by virtue of being sick or disabled or because of an accident not covered by Workers' Compensation.

  • Paid sick leave – means paid leave under the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act.

  • Vacation Year means the twelve (12) month period commencing on the first day of April in each calendar year and concluding on the last day of March of the following calendar year.

  • Vacation means annual vacation with pay.

  • Continuing Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.7(a).
