Paid Time definition

Paid Time. The term "paid time" shall mean all time for which an employee receives compensation, including work time and paid leave time.
Paid Time means time for which an employee is paid by the Federal Government, including both duty time, in which the employee performs agency business, and taxpayer-funded union time. It does not include time spent on paid or unpaid leave, or an employee's off-duty hours.

Examples of Paid Time in a sentence

  • For example: the School District may have implemented Paid Time Off (PTO) to address sick leave and all other leaves, or the School District may have converted all sick leave to ESST.

  • Paid Time Off: During your employment, you will be entitled to paid time off (“Paid Time Off”) in accordance with the Company’s policy applicable to employees, as amended from time to time.

  • By the required date, employees may request: (a) paid time off as detailed in Article 39 Paid Time Off, (b) unpaid time off in accordance with Hospital’s leave policies, or (c) to work a different day during the workweek in place of a work day normally scheduled to meet the employee’s FTE status.

  • Employees who had earned hours of sick leave at the time the Hospital transitioned to Paid Time Off benefits, will have their sick leave bank converted to an extended illness reserve (EIR) bank.

  • Employees starting work or transferring to a benefits eligible position on or after January 1, 2015 will accrue PTO in accordance with the schedule described in paragraph 1 of Article 39, Paid Time Off (PTO).

  • Appropriate use of Paid Time Off (PTO), disability benefits (Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability and Workers' Compensation), and protected forms of leave as defined by Company policy are essential to employee well-being, a healthy work environment, and a committed workforce, which are integral factors in Company performance.

  • When voluntary travel arrangements result in missed workdays, those days will be charged to Paid Time Off (PTO).

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) benefits are available to employees and may be used for vacation, illness, accident, family illness, medical appointments, or other personal business.

  • Employees may use Paid Time Off (PTO) per Article 12 within this Agreement for vacation, illness, accident, family illness, medical appointments or personal business.

Related to Paid Time

  • Lead Time means the quoted timeframe calculated between the date of receipt of the PO by Supplier and the Delivery Date.

  • Travel Time is the time an Interpreter uses to commute to and from an Appointment. Travel time, if more than one (1) hour each way, is added to the total time of the initial Appointment request. See “Payment for Services, Travel Reimbursement” in Exhibit C – Bid Price for additional information.

  • Response Time (t90) means the difference in time between the change of the component to be measured at the reference point and a system response of 90 per cent of the final reading (t90) with the sampling probe being defined as the reference point, whereby the change of the measured component is at least 60 per cent full scale (FS) and takes place in less than 0.1 second. The system response time consists of the delay time to the system and of the rise time of the system

  • Scheme Record Time means the time and date specified as such in the Scheme Document, expected to be 6.00 p.m. on the Business Day immediately preceding the Effective Date or such other time as Codemasters and Take-Two may agree;

  • Part-time means regularly working less than the number of full time hours set by the Employer as a regular work day for Employees in an Eligible Class of Employees in the Policy.

  • Real-time means the actual time during which a process or event occurs.

  • Central Clock Time or "CCT" means Central Daylight Time when Daylight Savings Time is in effect and Central Standard Time when Daylight Savings Time is not in effect.
