Steps 2 and 3 definition

Steps 2 and 3. Up to three (3) of the same Union Representatives may participate with or without the grievant. In addition, the Union Staff Representative may participate in Step 3. Upon agreement of the Union and the Employer, the Local Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, President, and Vice-President need not be from the same seniority unit or bargaining unit as the grieving employee. Grievance meetings at which the Step 2 Employer Representative is also the Appointing Authority for the third step of the grievance procedure shall be considered to be both the second and third step grievance meetings.
Steps 2 and 3. The Individual Career Development Plan will be turned into the evaluator and approved by September 30. Forms will be included in teacher’s personnel file. Examples of Steps 2 and 3 in a sentence

  • Employees shall remain on Steps 2 and 3 for nine (9) months each.

  • The provisions outlined in Steps 2 and 3 shall not restrict the employee or the immediate supervisor from seeking advice and counsel when it appears that settlement can be reached informally.

  • If meetings at Steps 2 and 3 have been scheduled, any additional evidence may be submitted at such meetings in writing or by means of testimony.

  • Steps 2 and 3 are intended primarily to be reviews of the existing grievance file; however, additional evidence may be submitted.

  • For grievances arising out of the due process or disciplinary process, the grievance may skip Steps 2 and 3 and proceed directly to mediation with the mutual agreement of Local No. 284 and Employee Relations.

  • In Steps 2 and 3 of the grievance procedure, the immediate and appropriate administrator at such step shall have full authority to grant release time to the participants.

  • The aggrieved has the right to a hearing individually or with the Local Association representative present in Steps 2 and 3.

  • HSP’s Personnel and Volunteers means the Controlling Shareholders (if any), directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers and other representatives of the HSP. In addition to the foregoing, HSP’s Personnel and Volunteers shall include the contractors and subcontractors and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers or other representatives;

  • Exhaust emissions means the emission of gaseous, solid and liquid compounds from the tailpipe.

  • efficient exhaust draught means localised ventilation effected by mechanical means for the removal of gas, vapour, dust or fumes so as to prevent them (as far as practicable under the atmospheric conditions usually prevailing) from escaping into the air of any place in which work is carried on. No draught shall be deemed efficient which fails to remove smoke generated at the point where such gas, vapour, fume, or dust originate;

  • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families-Unemployed Parent or "TANF-UP" means the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program for families in which both natural or adoptive parents of a child reside in the home and neither parent is exempt from the Virginia Initiative for Employment Not Welfare (VIEW) participation under § 63.2-609.

  • Clinical peer means a physician or other health care professional who holds a non-restricted license in a state of the United States and in the same or similar specialty as typically manages the medical condition, procedure or treatment under review.
