Strategic Investments definition

Strategic Investments means any Investment which in the good faith judgment of the Board of Directors of the Company (a) relates to a Related Business and (b) adds strategic value or offers a potential competitive advantage to the Company.
Strategic Investments means (a) Investments that the Board of Directors has determined in good faith will enable the Corporation or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries to obtain additional business that it might not be able to obtain without making such Investment and (b) Investments in entities the principal function of which is to perform research and development with respect to products and services that may be used or useful in the Telecommunications Business; PROVIDED that the Corporation or one of its Restricted Subsidiaries is entitled or otherwise reasonably expected to obtain rights to such products or services as a result of such Investment.
Strategic Investments means investments in Equity Interests in Persons that are primarily engaged in businesses of the type conducted by the Borrowers and the Subsidiaries on the date hereof or businesses reasonably related, ancillary or complementary thereto.
