Substitute Shares definition

Substitute Shares means the shares of capital stock (or similar equity interest) with the greatest voting power in respect of the election of directors (or other persons similarly responsible for direction of the business and affairs) of the issuer of the Substitute Option.
Substitute Shares means shares of common stock in the Successor or a Related Entity; provided that if the shares of common stock in any of the Successor or a Related Entity are publicly traded or quoted, the Substitute Shares shall be the publicly traded or quoted shares in such entity; and

Related to Substitute Shares

  • Substitute Option means an Option granted in substitution for, or upon the conversion of, an option granted by another entity to purchase equity securities in the granting entity.

  • Substitute Purchaser is defined in Section 21.
