Temporary Vacancies means a known or stated fixed or short-term Vacancy where the Candidate will be paid and employed by the end user of the Advertising Services.

More Definitions of Temporary Vacancies

Temporary Vacancies. Temporary vacancies are defined as bargaining unit job vacancies that may periodically develop in any job classification that do not exceed thirty (30) calendar days, excluding vacancies created as a result of parental leave/leave taken pursuant to the FMLA. Job openings that recur on a regular basis and/or that remain open more than thirty
Temporary Vacancies. When vacancies of five (5) days or less occur as a result of absenteeism, including FMLA, Bereavement Leave, Jury Duty, etc., the route(s) will generally be assigned to stand-by drivers/aides in accordance with their clock times, except when special circumstances warrant a variation in procedure. Known absences more than five (5) days shall be considered as "Long Term" and shall be offered to five (5) hour stand-by Employees in seniority order and may be forced by inverse seniority when necessary. The stand-by Employee's work week and calendar schedule will be adjusted to accommodate the temporarily vacated route. For the duration of the assignment the standby Employee will be considered as a regular Employee for purposes of bidding extra work. This section does not apply to eight-hour standbys.
Temporary Vacancies. All temporary vacancies that are known or expected to exceed ninety (90) calendar days (e.g. vacancies due to LOA or workers compensation leaves) shall be posted as “temporary vacancies” in accordance with the regular procedure found in this agreement.
