In this Contract, unless otherwise indicated: a reference to a Clause or Schedule is a reference to a Clause in or Schedule to this Contract; and a reference in a Schedule to a clause is a reference to a clause in that Schedule. Headings are for reference only and do not affect interpretation of the associated provision. Where the words “include(s)” or “including”, or words of a similar nature, are used in this Contract, they are deemed to have the words “without limitation” following them, and are illustrative and shall not limit the sense of the words preceding them. A reference to “writing” or “written” includes email (unless the context requires otherwise). Unless otherwise stated, a reference in this Contract to a statute or statutory provision is a reference to the relevant UK statute or statutory provision as it is in force during the Term, taking account of any amendment, extension, or re-enactment and includes any subordinate legislation made under such statute or statutory provision and in force during the Term.
